Aw, I’m glad you like them now. They had a really great and unique sound and I can’t help it-I find all their albums really lovable in their own ways. Even though there are some songs in their catalogue I don’t care for, I can listen to any Wings album beginning to end and thoroughly enjoy myself.
@@lifeisdead01 It just depends, but if I had to pick one I guess "Back to the Egg". Although I love "Venus and Mars" as well, I love them all. "London Town" is underrated, it has some of my favorite Wings songs!
Simple perfection of a song. Denny on snare is priceless! Who would have thought 50-years ago we all would still be listening, commenting, and enjoying this remarkable piece?
Yes he is, I prefer Brian Wilson, to me, BW is not from this world, other worldly composer.. but Paul is a catchy everyday man type of composer. I enjoy both
Visually the highlight of the Rockshow concert, with Denny having the time of his life on the drum, and the brass/flute section being picked out by the lighting
I actually didn't get that from him, his facial expressions were more like, "Can we get to the next song, please?" (If you're being sarcastic I can't tell.) But a very good live performance ;}
This was on the radio all the time when I was little, and it was the first record I ever owned. Corny as it may be, LET 'EM IN was let into my heart long ago, and it'll be there the rest of my life.
Watched this one live in October 27th 2023 in Sydney, Australia, Got Back tour. It was a very special occasion for personal reason. This was the only song in the whole concert that made me cry. One of my favourites of Wings repertoire.
Saw him play this two years ago when I went to see him with my mom for my high school graduation present. Greatest artist ever of all time. Nobody comes close to him
I was 14 yrs, and as a big fan for 70's music, I recall that song well, I used to hear on the radio, at the British top 20 charts every Saturday afternoon. It was late August / beginning of Sept. when it hit the charts, and was one of my favorite, besides Silly love Songs -- 3 months before. I do hear it frequently here as I scroll for 70's hits ! Nice memories when we were cutie teens🙂 !!
This song brings back so many good memories. My dad used to play the wingspan cd from 2001 all the time so I could hear music from when he was growing up.
I love this song so so much. I'd been listening to the Beatles non stop for the last 2 years, I'm so thankful to have discovered the wings, this is absolutely awesome music 💯
Sir Paul played it at the Winston-Salem show... Last night at my favorite restaurant/bar, I mentioned this song was played at Winston Salem to the 2 bartenders. Both (mid 30's) had no clue about Sir Paul's 2nd career and this song...
De todos los videos que he visto acerca de esta obra musical de Wings está es la que más me gusta sobre todo porque él que toca el tamborín le da un toque diferente y también las flautas y el trombón y ahí se ve a Paul todavía joven!!
Totally fantastic Mccartney song, it's so him, yet nothing like any of his other songs, what a genius. It's actually quite easy to play on the piano, but really effective. Like others have mentioned, I think this adds to the recorded version in many ways.
Sir Paul McCartney, una persona che si è sempre reiventata musicalmente, canzoni sempre diverse, che toccano tutti gli strati dell'animo umano. Hai plasmato con la tua musica la percezione delle cose: dalla piu semplice a quella più importante. Grazie 🎶 🇮🇹
This was one of the many little commemorations of the approaching festivities for our American Bicentennial back in 1976...I was ten in 1975 and am so glad to have been a part of that Grand Celebration the following Summer (Fourth of July). I will never forget it, for it moved me to a Patriotism for this great country. If you call the United States just a nation, you are no Patriot. It is OUR COUNTRY. "OPEN THE DOOR AND LET 'EM IN." The Spirit of '76. Without apology-for it was NOT racist, sexist, nor imperialist. Nor was it "triumphalist." IT WAS TRIUMPHANT!
This is awesome. I pretty much would like to sing or play this when I ask my friends who are a year older than me to include other friends that are the same age as me as well as other people their age into their friend group like they included me. As soon as it was done we’d hang out and go to fun places. One my friends could want to sing this to me if other friends of mine want to be included in our friend group. As soon as that was done we’d hang out and go to fun places.
This is an incredible version. when he sings the line "let 'em in" his voice takes on an almost brassy quality that is reminiscent of the other brass instruments on this song
One of their more underrated songs. The orchestration is incredible. Nobody ever accused Paul of not being able to write great and catchy music. Unfortunately, as with all of the other Beatles in their solo careers, they had to compete against the Beatles.

I really regret taking Paul & Wings for granted. The music they put out there is so darn good.

RIP Denny Laine - love the enthusiasm you gave to this performance. We’ll miss you
One of the best lead guitar players of the 1970s.
This is one of my favorite songs by Paul McCartney And Wings.
Wings were AWESOME. ..McCartney is a musical genius

My dude hits that trombone solo righteously
That was badass! Lol
accurately
One of the main reasons I chose to learn how to play a trombone
Oh yes
Tony Dorsey doing the honors
Jimmy McCulloch and Linda McCartney are now deceased. May their memories be a blessing to their family.
Also Denny Laine ,
Visually the highlight of the Rockshow concert, with Denny having the time of his life on the drum, and the brass/flute section being picked out by the lighting
It was a memorable moment.
The spirit of '76.
@cr It’s alive and well in THIS 57 year-old!..
Denny Laine with that drum and hat is having such a great time.
incredibly presented

Denny Laine is AMAZING PLAYING THE DRUM
@@JamesBond-gh2pr exactly considering how it was America's bicentennial year.
I was thinking Denny might have had a bit of Rush in his hat and enjoying the night lol
Doesn't get any better then this ! Loved listening to Wings in the 70's and still too this day !!
Love this tour and this Wings line up with those awesome horns, still my fave of Pauls concerts.

I was 11 during the 1976 Summer Bicentennial Celebrations...this performance reflects that great summer
I was 10 and couldn’t agree more 👍🏻
I was 10 & 1/2 at sleep away camp the summer of 1976 & this is what I remember hearing on my am/fm little radio.
@brett Agreed: It was SO COOL to be 10 in that glorious Summer of ‘76!!.

I first heard this song sung live by Paul & Wings in 1976 at Nassau Coliseum before I even heard it on the radio.
Recently learned this on piano and I love it. Every McCartney song
I think one of the top five bands in the world
Denny Laine: what a talented guy.
FROM MÉXICO: BETTER LIKE JOHN LENNON?
Cops knockin on the door Cops ringing the bell...."Sure let'em in"
I've always liked the ending of this song
+John Winston You are right , Paul did say flavour ! So classic 😀
I love Paul. I saw this concert in 1976 in Boston, MA. Fantastic
I Really Love This Song.......Great Paul
What a fun performance!Put a smile on my face even after a really bad day.
the best music of the world...!!!!! thanks paul mccartney

saw Paul McCartney in 1991 he puts on a fantastic show .
I love this! Rockshow is brilliant concert in 1976 & in 2022..Paul's still doing it live in 2022...just AMAZING!!!
Love the cute little curtsy he does at the end. He's so gorgeous.
It just seems like Paul was enjoying himself so much more than when he was with the Beatles
This was better music & the production Paul did for this greatest rock show will never be equaled
I find this song one of the best ever made. It starts from simply almost nothing and listen to what McCartney made of it. That is craftmanship.
This is Gold!!! My favourite song The The wings with sir paul mccartney
Magique et merveille de la vraie musique ❤❤👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍

I like this slightly better than the studio version. A bit funkier, more soulful vocals.
Sir Paul smashed the other Beatles music quality and quantity with all the other 3 put together
Dear Sir Paul and Wings some reallly great songs.Les

This video missed out on the end when Denny Laine says “Happy Birthday America” in recognition of our country’s bicentennial 1976.
Not only that, but the beautiful little jazzy vocal run that Paul does at the end of the song - me thinks it's a different recording.
