Great. Now I want to suppress the bolt action .410 I picked up... 3rnds of slug should make it a nice hog hunter gun for the close-in woods around a feeder where ya can't see 20 meters, usually not even 10 lmao.

Only with the right slugs. Many 410 slugs shatter and penetrate something like 5 inches. Not enough for hogs. I hate to say how I know…

hi i have a 410 single shot and we just got approved to put silencers on them here is sweden.
would you suggest a 45 cal silencer or 50 cal. so the wad wount get stuck but still not sound too much ?

Sorry mate my only experience with silenced .410s is the one I have. Not used silencers on a shotgun although I know there are specific after market suppressors that work pretty well.

Most shotgun suppressors are either the ported barrel variety (like I suspect the one in the vid is), or they're like the Salvo 12, with a bore-sized set of rods running the length of the moderator to guide the shot and wad through the baffles. The petals of poly shot cups start to open the moment they are no longer supported by the barrel, and there's a good chance they'll get stuck in the suppressor. Some suppressors that were popular in Britain several decades ago used a normal, unsupported baffle stack, and they only recommended you use traditional fiber wads with it (those act like a solid projectile in the suppressor).
Don't know your laws, but if you have a machine shop near you, having them port the last 10" of barrel, creating a baffle stack, and mounting points for the over-barrel tube is IMO, the best way to do it, generally cheapest too.
