Just got one of these last week when my 2007 toro with the R-Tek engine was going to rtequire $300 in repairs. Just thought if I do that every 2-3 years and dont have to with this that it will pay itself back in a few years. We shall see how it works. I live in Northeast Wisconsin so it will get used at least a few times.
The only thing i dont like is the location of the handle for the chute, most have it on the handle nice and handy, here you have to reach to change the chute
Jimmy you are fast becoming someone I like to watch. The main reason is that you are just very much yourself and you have the same camera persona as Ryan Knoor. You have the boy next door look and feel and with so much arrogance by many on you-tube you are refreshing to say the least. Keep up the good work my friend. Have you ever caught GCI TURF here in Reidsville NC. where I live??? Pete is the owners name. " HEY THIS IS PETE WITH GCI TURF,hope you are having a great day "...
Sam, thanks so much for the kind words. Means a lot. I do watch Pete, and had the privilege of meeting him in October at the GIE. He is as genuine as they come.
Jimmy, Man! Great Editing Job, super well done review for a great little machine! Your transitions, pans and closeups are getting sooooo much tighter my friend. This Video is N-Ext Level for you my friend. Keep it up awesome job, I truly love watching you grow! Chad Upstate NY
Love the drone shots! I’d really like to see how thing thing handles a foot and a half of heavy wet Midwest snow ❄️ lol. I have a feeling these are great for like 8 inches or less, typical for most single stage snowblowers. Great little machine though, battery tech has come a long way!
Even a year later, but thanks for the video! I might get it this week because I wanna stay away from noisy gas machines and of course, Toro is Toro, so it will be a great machine for our snow here in Buffalo. Regards Jimmy!
Great review and demo. I'll probably pick one up at Home Depot this week. I like the fact that it seems very quiet, which is important when I'm snowblowing late at night or early in the morning so I don't wake sleeping neighbors.
Its an awesome machine. If I didn't have 4-6 of my neighbor's driveways to help out with I'd get this as I rarely get over 8 inches of snow. Could you compare this to your snowmaster in 12" of snow? Would be intrested to see the difference!
I bought a Toro electric mower this summer and have a newer single stage Toro gas blower with a gunked up carburetor. I did not know this existed. I was out shopping for new two stage to replace my old Craftsman. I was looking at Toro's but didn't see this electric at Home Depot.
I’ve got the mover, blower, trimmer from this lineup. And the old style hedge trimmer. All very good! The batteries are great so far! Plenty of power for my think St Aug here in FL. No need for that contraption you have there though...
By no stretch of imagination does it assemble in 10 minutes? That chute assembly is very difficult And please try it in some real wet at least 6 inches of snow plus the dreaded snow plow drift I just bought it and it’s nowhere close to a gas single stage blower, will try it out for another snowfall and evaluate whether to keep it or return
I noticed where you made a deeper pile of snow the blower did not clear it down to the pavement as well. Hopefully you can do another video next winter of it clearing a deeper snow, like at least a half-foot or so. Then let's see if you can still clear both driveways and sidewalks on a half battery's worth of power. That would be more impressive. That 1" snowfall you cleared put absolutely no strain on the machine. Even if it runs the battery completely down it would be great if the snow was 6-8" deep.
Very well done bro! Glad to see Toro recognizing the quality of your channel and content!!! My favorite quote: "Be sure to have the battery charged and ready before use, so that when it's time to use it, it's ready to go" 😂
1st! I love the fact that it’s a quality electric! I look to replace Gasoline tools as much as possible. This will possibly be a future purchase for me. Thanks for the great review. Let us know how it holds up through the season!
Nice video, i like the drone and the slow motion parts
I used to have trains behind my apartment years ago .What a pain.

Nice touch on the snow intro vid @0:14
Thanks 🙂
Great review video awesome kudos, keep making them thank you thank you

what about wet snow? end of driveway snow ? (the stuff the plow leaves behind)
It’s good to have a blower that can handle a big load
RVA Lawn Love 😏😏
Pacific Northwest Lawns lol
That dronie move with the train going by is next level cinematography my friend
Thanks!
Agreed.
Great video, very professional.
Thank you.
Hows it holding up?

How about the 6-9 inch days?
Some satisfying footage there broski! 👍🏼
My video opened with an ad for Ariens..... 😎
Sneaky sneaky
How long does it take to charge the battery.
If I can get one of these for 500 dollars would that be a good deal .Its new also.
Yeah that’s cheaper than retail. Retail is around $750
Great video! Just used my for the first time and I totally agree with you👍
Thanks! Ya it's a cool machine.
Battery powered machines rock! Well put video. That drone footage was dope!
Thanks very much!

Thanks so much Chad.
If I ever actually got enough snow to need one I'd probably look into buying that one... that was impressive.
Thanks. Yeah it's a lot of fun.
gonna be fun keeping all these batteries charged up when california can't even keep thepower on
Nice job buddy
Thank you, sir!

Most aren't equipped to handle anything over 8 inches... 😬😏😉
The Lawn Whisperer that’s what she said. 😉
🤦♂️

Nice review and great drone work. That was rad! Cheer
Thanks! Had fun with it.
Nice video! Your drone footage is 🔥🔥
Thanks. Flying that thing is really fun.
How much for this unit?

Here is my snow blower ruclips.net/video/X7wNP5uiRAs/видео.html

I like the weather specific intro!

If we get another good snow I'll see what I can do! It's been really hit and miss this year.

Looks like you’re going through about an inch of snow. Let’s see it work in about 4 to 6 inches.
I am in minnesota and I bought this toro electric and is could only through light snow three feet, poorly. Truth.
Love the review, great job! Does it come with 1 of those "stick" type tools to unclog the discharge chute if it's becomes jammed?
Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't. But from what I understand a lot of work has gone into designing the rotor and the funnel to prevent clogging.
I noticed where you made a deeper pile of snow the blower did not clear it down to the pavement as well. Thanks Allyn! I've been laughing at that one as well 😂
That’s so dang cool!!
That toro hat is sick. How do I get my hands on one?!
Thanks! I snagged that at the GIE expo last fall.
I want
Good.work.
So far it seems like the toro single stage blowers are really impressive. It appeared to do well in what appeared to be a wet and heavy snow.
yeah "appeared" and "appeared" . The heavy snow demonstration was seriously lacking.
Does that police car ever move? 😆😆
😂 I promise it does.
Anyone else wanna see more of the assembly beard Jimmy had going on???
Dead giveaway I've had the machine since November haha
Man, that’s a lot of snow compared to what we get. It’s probably not even that much compared to other states 😂
Is this all music or did you show how quiet it is somewhere in this video?
It's all music. I'll post a raw video on my Facebook page tonight.
1st! I love the fact that it’s a quality electric! I look to replace Gasoline tools as much as possible. This will possibly be a future purchase for me. Thanks for the great review. Let us know how it holds up through the season!
Well it may be a good snowblower, but I'd be embarrassed to be seen snowblowing that small amount of snow.
What a sellout.
Ditto that!
lol that aint snow . try it in 3 feet of snow
“And it’s quiet!” Why not show us it’s quiet instead of putting dumb hold music from a call center over your video?
How long is the charge time?
Comes with a 7.5aH battery that takes around 180 min to fully charge.
A review on ace hardware said his stop working because of old drive way had cracks and kept shutting down !
