    What's up wi dat?

I want to know too. I looked into it because I've heard him talk about it several times but I can't find anything that supports this claim. The only information that shows up is about the link between childhood trauma and criminal behavior in general. I'm not saying he's wrong....he's gotten this info somewhere....from a study or something. I'd love to know more about it.

So, she mentioned so many regrets but, left a BIG ONE out ... the one about being a thief is an awful thing and her family has to live now, KNOWING she is (or was) one.

This isnt the first or even second or third time I've heard judge Middleton mention a link between childhood trauma and embezzlement, so i looked it up and cant seem to find anything that supports a direct link between the two. Theres obviously tons of information about the link between childhood trauma and criminal behavior in general, but nothing that i can find that supoorts a link to embezzlement specifically. I'd love to talk to him about it and find out why and especially how the two are linked in his mind.

@@vanessamw1140 - Thank you... but we're fighting a lost battle...
When i was a teenager i heard from somewhere that, for about 150-200 years each generation was better educated and more knowledgeable than their parents' generation. Now the reverse seems to be the case.

@@harryinhuahin1272 yes, it's certainly concerning. There's evidence of this all over social media. This thing though, where people don't realize they're saying "could've" rather than "could of" is only the very tippy top tip of the iceberg, but it's a common mistake I see all over social media. I even read a decision by a judge where he made the same mistake....a judge! It's a pet peeve for me.

Well when you have a charge that deals with stealing, it makes it hard to find anyone who will hire you. Especially when it's embezzlement from a past employer.
