Visited many Greek Islands and this is our fav.
We are travelling here for the first time in September and am so so looking forward to being on the beautiful island.
Yes Skiathos and the rest island of North Sporades (Skopelos + Allonisos ) are some of the best , with such a wild beauty scenery it makes you shiver. A plasure to the eye, with crystal clear water.
I just remind my Skiathos summer holidays many years ago. It was so wonderful and it is still wonderful place with good climate and extremely clean sea water. I love Greece !
We were there June 2006. Many nice memories comes back when I look at the clip.

By the way let me tell you one thing: According last studies, One of the most close people genetically is Greeks. So, while calling us as Mongols you have to think twice, this means you are close to mongols too. Besides, the Mongol people of the Middle Asia are decent people over there. At the other side, Check the history, Turks came to minor Asia, Just becasue to find peace of the Mongol attacks versus Turks. And this people is just 24 % of the actual Turkish population. So you stayed calm in your country in close history, that is not becasue you are all the way peaceful people, that is just becasue you were not as much capable as Ottomans. If you were , you could do the same as Ottomans. ( see, india gr. Alex.). At the other hand , In Ottoman empire the Sultan was rather Greek than Turk. They almost all got married with greek woman from the beginning. The most successfull Vezir, Abraham from Parga, was genuine greek from parga. He was the most respectful.
To my experience, there is no wholesome bad or good people in the world. All humans are the same. I am telling this I almost saw all nations. Even the farthest peoples are all the same. I an't see any difference between the west side people of Turkey and the people of Greece. The big difference is the religion. Other than that people almost the same.
You cannot judge the rules of the past with Today's values. That's your fault. In the Ottoman time there was no such things like human rights. Despite that Ottomans put on scene very humanistic actions even 400 years ago such as rescueing all the Jews from Spain from the genocide by christians for the reason that they didn't accept to convert to Christinaism. When it comes to humanity, while swearing to Ottomans why don't you speak out the crimes made in Spain for example.?
