You have to divide his hair in minimum 4 sections so you can see the scalp. Then saturate hair with leave in conditioner each section from room to end. Then brush/comb each individual section from tip to root. Since he does like his hair done and you obviously don't want to cut it. Put into two strand twist after washing, moisturize hair.
Even if he don't let you fully brush it.Put that water and conditioner looks a lot better and back in the day.We used to use that.We get curls in the back of our hair and we're white.The guys would and they would put that up something for curls in a yellow bottle spray bottle.I don't know if they still have it or not

You do not give children to drink straight from bottles,they can choke or even poison themselves accidentally by seeing bottles with any kind of liquid and taking a drink from it.Even you too drinking it in front of him.This is seriously wrong.

Unscented dove, sensitive skin lubriderm, Pantene for your hair. Free and clear laundry soap. Take a couple benadryl also. We have eczema in our family. Also only 10 minutes a day in lukewarm water not hot for your shower or bathe. Pat dry and slather in lubriderm.
