I think being away from Grian has helped Joel calm down. First two episodes were more hinged than I ever remember Joel acting in Life Series, then week 3 was more of the old chaos--while Grian was with him.

Like, you'd have to do something like flip a trapdoor or point (or try to point in MC) or something just to communicate, but you have to be muted the whole time? Literally muted or just not talk at all while being unmuted.
I can just imagine Joel looking at Lizzie and going "You know, you're the second best wife I've ever had" and Lizzie just be like "But I'm the only wife you've had" followed by just a small moment of awkward silence.

Task idea: Use the wrong series name in at least 5 conversations. Only rule is that it has to be a life series. If someone calls you out on the task or corrects you, that conversation does not count. Example: Accidentally call secret life Last Life

I've been enjoying watching the different perspectives, but the best thing in this episode was how sweet the interactions were between Joel and Lizzy at 5:50. The other nice touch was the crickets when Joel found Grian, and Joel stumbling onto Etho riding in a land boat at 22:05. That whole Mumbo horse interaction was hilarious.
Considering you are married, I think it would be a good task to go around and propose to each other in front of at least 4 people. And it has to seem like a random coincidence, like one of you was there and the other just happened to come along.

Ok here’s a long list of task ideas I thought up with my friend -Make an iron golem inside someone else's base -Get someone to proclaim you royalty -Scare 5 people with a live creeper -Put on a character voice and use it exclusively for 10 minutes (ex. Pirate, cowboy, Mickey Mouse, Kermit) -Pretend that you are a color life you are not for the entire session. -Any time someone says the word ‘life’ you have to stop talking for a minute -Make a full monopoly -Convince someone to bake you a cake -Gift a player a pet and then kill it -Scare someone with an armour stand -Make a slogan and convince 3 other players to say it -Create a new shop and get at least one employee and one sale -Inverse your mouse controls for at least half the session -Win 5 rounds of stat poker -Play and win a real life sport in minecraft -If someone does something to you, do it back to them (punching, gifting a heart, ect.) -Change your skin 4 times during the session with no one calling you out. I absolutely LOVE the style of editing used in these videos!!! I like the music in the back when ur doing “meaningless” tasks like mining and how it stops when you take damage and restarts after a few seconds:) this may be my favorite or second favorite secret life POV (and yes ik this is a year old) im not sure if ur the one who edits these, but my regards to whomever does!

If they genuinely like it, you completed your task. If they don’t, you fail. One attempt only.
Task Idea: You have to start every sentence you say (in front of other people) with a certain letter of the alphabet going in alphabetical order. So the first peron you talk to you have to start your sentence with the letter A then the next sentence with B and so on so forward. You have to get to the end of the alphabet by the end of the session. If you mess up you have to start over.
Task concept: What If we had a task like this but the song depends on who gets it. For Example, if Lizzie gets it, it could be a song from Empires: The Musical. Or Joel could have another Shrek song. Scott could have Deal with Destiny. You get the idea. For guessing, the player only has to guess what that they have to mix parts of their song in sentences for it to count (guessing what the book said would be impossible). It might be too wild of an idea but thought I'd pitch it anyway.

One thing about shield that everyone should know is that you have to put your shield up BEFORE the mob start its attack. That means BEFORE the skeleton shoots its arrow. If you raise your shield while the arrow is already in the air, it wont work.
Task Idea: You must get yourself accused by a Yellow. Whatever Task they accuse you of having is now your new Task, which you must complete, following the exact words of their accusation.

Yellow Task Idea : Successfully spy on 5 people and call out atleast one of them of their task correctly.
Red Task Idea : 'Accidentally' push someone off a cliff without punching. They must take atleast 5 hearts of damage.
Task1: Don’t let the person trying to find you find you
Task2: try find the person you are required to find
Ok here’s a long list of task ideas I thought up with my friend
-Make an iron golem inside someone else's base
-Get someone to proclaim you royalty
-Scare 5 people with a live creeper
-Put on a character voice and use it exclusively for 10 minutes (ex. Pirate, cowboy, Mickey Mouse, Kermit)
-Pretend that you are a color life you are not for the entire session.
-Any time someone says the word ‘life’ you have to stop talking for a minute
-Make a full monopoly
-Convince someone to bake you a cake
-Gift a player a pet and then kill it
-Scare someone with an armour stand
-Make a slogan and convince 3 other players to say it
-Create a new shop and get at least one employee and one sale
-Inverse your mouse controls for at least half the session
-Win 5 rounds of stat poker
-Play and win a real life sport in minecraft
-If someone does something to you, do it back to them (punching, gifting a heart, ect.)
-Change your skin 4 times during the session with no one calling you out. You must spend at the least 10 minutes in each skin
-Replace one type of block in someone’s base with another block. There must be at least 10 of this block in the base originally.
-Replace 3 people’s door with a redstone door. Don't let them know it was you. If they guess it was you you have to try again on someone else
Hard tasks;
-Dig up the entire desert
-Build a nether portal in every biome
Red tasks;
-Drown someone for at least 5 hearts of damage
-Get someone to click on a bed in the nether/end
#suggestions Task Idea: SolidarityGaming is now your son. You may not be more than 30 blocks away from him for the whole session. For every 2 hearts of damage he takes, you gave to gift him 1 back (if you already gifted him yours you have to convince another player to gift one to him, if you are unable to, you fail) If he dies, you fail.
Task Idea: Make sure Tim isn’t eliminated First (no this isn’t a joke)

I like the music in the back when ur doing “meaningless” tasks like mining and how it stops when you take damage and restarts after a few seconds:) this may be my favorite or second favorite secret life POV (and yes ik this is a year old) im not sure if ur the one who edits these, but my regards to whomever does!

Task ideas:
1. Hard task: Repeat everything someone says every time they talk to you, if they tell you to stop, you fail. You can re try this 3 times.
2. Easy task: Follow Etho around everywhere silently. Don’t say anything. If he tells you to go away, you fail.
3. Possibly hard?: Give someone on the sever a trash gift. If they genuinely like it, you completed your task. If they don’t, you fail. One attempt only.
Task Idea: You have to start every sentence you say (in front of other people) with a certain letter of the alphabet going in alphabetical order. So the first peron you talk to you have to start your sentence with the letter A then the next sentence with B and so on so forward. You have to get to the end of the alphabet by the end of the session. If you mess up you have to start over.
Task idea: be the counsellor of the server for the entire session

Task: Someone has to wear a jack-o-lantern and get asked, "wait you can wear jack-o-lanterns."
Task concept:
What If we had a task like this but the song depends on who gets it. For Example, if Lizzie gets it, it could be a song from Empires: The Musical. Or Joel could have another Shrek song. Scott could have Deal with Destiny. You get the idea.
For guessing, the player only has to guess what that they have to mix parts of their song in sentences for it to count (guessing what the book said would be impossible).
It might be too wild of an idea but thought I'd pitch it anyway.

Task : Convince at least 3 players to guess your task while your task is not what they tought they are
Task idea: successfully “sell” another player an entire chest/barrel (shulker box?) of the same mundane block (dirt, stone, etc)
It must be sold for payment, not just freely given.
Task idea: have unbroken eye contact with 3 people for 10 seconds then run away, if the other person looks away before time is up find someone else
Task idea: convince people that its your pets birthday and have atleast 3 people say happy birthday (if you dont have a pet also convince them that you do)
task idea: speak in only noises to people for 30 minutes, this could be squeaks, grunts etc. if you say one word, you fail

Plan a wedding and become a priest,
Minimum of 6 people need to attend to the wedding.

That said, here are some suggestions for tasks:
[NORMAL] You must hold a long-distance conversation with another player for at least 5 minutes. The distance between you must be 10 blocks minimum.
[HARD] Bring home an elytra.
[RED NORMAL] Convince someone to make a leap of faith, and make sure they DO take fall damage.
[RED HARD] Escort a warden to the surface.

One thing about shield that everyone should know is that you have to put your shield up BEFORE the mob start its attack. That means BEFORE the skeleton shoots its arrow. If you raise your shield while the arrow is already in the air, it wont work.
Task Idea: You must get yourself accused by a Yellow. Whatever Task they accuse you of having is now your new Task, which you must complete, following the exact words of their accusation.
This is the same task that skizz got lol
Task idea : you have to wear one of your old skins without anyone realising/questioning :p
