That's his wife Morgane singing with him. Chris suffered from stage fright and his wife helped conquer it by singing with him and also he thought of himself as more of a songwriter and guitar player and didn't think he had a very good singing voice and his wife made sure we all got hear it by convincing him he needed to sing too!

Death row is a great one by Chris with a much different vibe.
The most traditional Blues style song he has in mu opinion. "Death Row" is one of the few I recommend going with the Official Audio on. I've never found a live version I was truly happy with. The additional elements in the song make it difficult to truly reproduce live.

Who wrote this song, cowrote, arranged the music? It wasn't Sheryl Crow by any chance, was it? It sounds like her songs kind of, as soon as it open before Chris began singing. Immediately it ringed, at least to my ears Mizz Sheer Crow.
