  • Time to upgrade the steering on my 2005 superjet. Got a few suggestions to go with the blowsion system since it will give me the most room after install. We also went with the 0 degree bars from RRP. This is a complete installation video. Review video will come shortly after hope y'all enjoy.

      @@CoyoteChris Just ordered the RRP steering, bars and finger throttle to go along with the solas impeller I picked up. Should be a fun little budget build

    Just my opinion, it’s mostly preference. Myself, running stock. I could see doing this when the stick unit is worn out.

      @CoyoteChris  7 месяцев назад

      The main reason I did it was to gain more room in the tray. Plus I refer the straight bars of the stock racked bars.

    I know this is a old video but how do you like the straight bars over the stockers?

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  9 месяцев назад

      I love the straight bars and would highly recommend them. Weird at first but I love them now. Road the stock blue Superjet this summer and couldn’t stand the stock bend. 🤘🏼🔥

      @CoyoteChris lol!! I'm building my son a superjet now. I didn't know if they were worth the investment. I love my blowsion blaster bars but wasn't sure about a straight pipe haha. Thanks for the info as always man!!

      No sure exactly what your asking? The stock Superjets a have a spring and pin that hold the pole up.

    How you finding the setup since the install.. Could you cut away on the inside of the chin pad to maximize the steering.. Looking at getting the same setup for my ski

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  3 года назад

      I was able to cut some material away from the chin pad. I still could not adjust to the maximum adjustment. I do like the setup very clean and easy to install

      Thanx for the reply..... Do you find the steering more responsive and quicker with the new steering system and straight bars

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  3 года назад

      It’s definitely more responsive and the straight bars made a big difference too, just took a little getting used too but I like them. 🤘🏼

    Did you get some issues with the Cable steering? Or with the stop steering?

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  3 года назад

      I had issues with both, the cable was bad before I installed the kit once I replaced the cable that was good but the adjustment was hitting the chin pad mount. I was able to grind a little away on the chin pad mount to get most of the adjustment.

      @@CoyoteChris Okey. I have the exact problem on my ski. So you are using The standard Cable steering? I think The modification on the chin pad Will be pretty big😄 Can you send me some picture of your ski or do you have a video on that?
      Thanks for your answer👍🏻

    • @CoyoteChris

      The ski has the stock cable and at the moment the ski is completely torn apart doing rebuild, but I can send some pictures of the chin pad mod. Find me on Instagram @ coyotechrisrebuild. Send me a message and I will send you some pics.

    did the rrp bar have a hole for the killswitch tab? looking to get this bar and odi lock ons for a wave blaster 1. thanks

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  3 года назад +1

      No the rrp bars do not have a hole but you can drill one or just remove the tag from the switch. Very easy mod but I’m not sure I would install straight bars on a blaster 🤘🏼

      been boating for 20 years, but new to skis and always wanted a stand-up. the local used dealer talked me into taking the plunge on this waveblaster 1. the first time out was hilarious for everyone else. luckily i found your channel and chixwithtrix and both have helped me get going. has been awesome one i learned to balance at idle. have you found any blurple touchup paint?

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  3 года назад +1

      That’s awesome thanks for watching, blasters are a ton of fun. As far as the paint I haven’t tried to find any but I’m sure you could take the ski to a auto paint repair place and have them make you some.
