- We take a look back to this day in 2018 for the most dramatic night on the way to the Championship. A typical Ruben Neves beauty was the only goal, but John Ruddy heroics in stoppage time meant we took the three points back to Wolverhampton.

best game ever dope
I am a Welsh fan who was supporting Cardiff and was at the match! Overall Wolves played well and deserved to win... a bit of class from Nerves! Great drama at the end....the 2nd penalty what was the defender doing! A very entertaining game!!!

I think Cardiff were about 6 pts behind a Wolves team who were top of the championship. Cardiff were out of the race and clawed back a position where they were in touching distance. If Cardiff won they'd be within 3 points! Wolves winning took them 9 points clear and it meant a certain return to the Premier League. That was the significance...
