Your wife is right that house is definitely "cute" the architecture is nice and what it was sorely lacking was curb appeal. Well not anymore! You gave that beautiful house so much curb appeal! Especially when you suddenly have a worse one in comparison on the other side of that driveway once it was cleaned up. I mean fallen over fences, a kids electric car just chucked in a random hole between the house and a shed. It was sad seeing that house next to it.

I love how you trim the brushes and trees, mend the fences, and do repairs around the house, and haul off all the trash and debris. I didn’t think you would ever get that driveway done. So, it looks like your efforts are focused in a small city/large to medium size town somewhere in the Midwest. The problem with those size places is a economy that is stagnating, decreasing or not growing for some reason. Lack of job market hurts the overall growth of the area resulting in people moving away and abandoning the houses. While clean up is a good start the town/city also needs to market itself to attract growth. Some suburbs have done just that, offering tax incentives and publicizing their area as a great area for industry. Some have seen explosive growth in their own suburb and surrounding ones from doing that. There are other populations for an area to market to besides big businesses. Many, many smaller cities/ towns would be lovely places for retirees to live. A town could market to that population by providing incentives to seniors, tax breaks and community centers for seniors and advertising itself in Senior publications are ways to start a market plan. The local governments need to get involved and develop a plan.

This is the best channel for watching someone redo a yard. It really helps the community when you have it cleaned up and this man is a godsend. He believes in cleanliness into enjoy your community. I think once the litter is gone, and the yards are mowed that the people that live there have more pride and want to keep it that way I hope this mankeeps doing what he’s doing and maybe some other followers God bless him. He’s a good man.

I really hated cutting grass growing up!! So why do I love watching you transform these yards every week? There are so many grass cutters on RUclips but I think your personality draws people in and the fact that you really care about these lawns!! This is such long term neglect. It’s very sad. Single family (or single parent, or elderly) home ownership is not always the best choice any more. Homes and yards take a lot of maintenance and upkeep.

I agree with your wife - I think it's adorable The only reasons I think it hasn't sold are: a) if something major (plumbing, wiring, roof) needs to be redone or b) curb appeal - and you fixed that. You did a terrific job of clearing it up!

🌻the edging is my favorite part. I imagine it is because I grew up helping my father with yard work every Saturday like clockwork. My job was, yes, edging, but with the old school edger along with those occasional blisters. Good memories 🤓

Boy I feel for you, that was a insane driveway. I'm curious where you take the wheelbarrow of dirt and grass? I've seen another channel where they use a flat end pick and it is removed much easier. You are doing a wonderful job and I love the way you are attention to detail.
I wondered the same thing about where you take the green waste.
My city has a recycling center for yard debris, it's $3.75 per load, big trailer or small trailer load. Hopefully he's has something similar where he's located.
