Congratulations. I just found your channel and subscribed immediately. I am also interested in getting into data analytics. I am currently on a 12 week boot camp skills for life course in data analytics and not from an IT, statistics, engineering, mathematics, data science, computer science background. It is quite intensive, but I do feel it will be worth it in the end. Exactly as you advised, my plan is to concentrate on small businesses instead of major companies. As there is so much to cover and each module has roughly about 5 to 7 (2.5hr each) live session classes, there is only so much the tutor can cover in that time. My plan is devote more time especially python, power BI and Microsoft SQL doing extra self study to get my knowledge and confidence levels to a somewhat ok level to attend interviews. It is always nice to hear of other people’s experiences, as it is helpful and encouraging.

Congratulations. Welldone. My only fear is that IT looks so saturated and in years to come,it may become like the oil market where many oil graduates don’t have job now. That has been my fear
Big data is the new oil and gold. More organisations are heavily dependent on data for business decisions. Therefore, demand for data analysts ll be high

@@Iamwinyjoe thank you for your prompt response, I tried using this diploma certificate i had from NIIT and some school where saying I should get it Authenticated at both ministries in Abuja which is not possible since it's not a Nigeria institution, only my olevel I was able to authenticate at both ministries
