Well I learned this piece for new year but I overslept last night, so it wouldn't be a great surprise for everyone...I thought of posting this in my channel too, great coincidence!

You're gonna kick yourself, then, when you learn that Vivaldi's Four Seasons is also comprised of 12 pieces, 3 for each season. And it's a little bit longer, even, than Tchaikovsky's The Seasons.
@@voaneves the movements are also technically pieces, i believe. the seasons is a suite, so each individual month is a movement. counting them all, both have 12 movements combined, so they have the same amount of pieces. the four seasons, however, are grouped into 4 works, under 1 opus number. same with the seasons, but it's 1 work with 12 movements. so, while they have the same amount of movements, the 4 seasons is comprised of 3 more works than the seasons.
Traum. You constantly amaze me with your knowledge. I was listening to the 1812 yesterday and had no idea of this piece , you'd would be forgiven for thinking it was a different composer. Thanks for yet another lesson and wish you a very happy and healthy 2021.
@@evplayspiano I’m afraid that due to my condition (known as being dead) all I can do is decompose, so no, the 5th Piano Concerto shall not be composed any time soon. If you could resurrect me then I might be able to, but resurrection is a difficult task in itself.
Traum you need some new year resolutions for your channel. Maybe opening a wider variety of music, creating a channel goal, or doing some new stuff on the channel. Your piano playing is great and more people need to hear it.

But I knew about the movements, this doesn't mean they are pieces right? Each of the concerti has tempos in fast-slow-fast order
