Good point! Remember I had to use less yaw in Velocidrone in the beginning than in my real quad, because I was not going so fast IRL, therefor less tilt/camera angle = more more yaw needed :)
I'll watch everyone of these videos. I always learn something helpful. My 8 year old has been wanting to fly and the simulator is great for him playing around with out crashing my expensive toys😬
please add a warning on the camera mix angle to not be touched by beginners, i've made the mistake of changing that to 45 thinking it would be the quad camera then changed quad camera to 45 and i was getting totally reversed controls and trained with that for about 12-15 h and now i've found out about this and gotta train that many more hours to get back to the "normal controls"
there is no such thing as these settings - we don't know what your quad is, what motors it has, it's weight, what shape frame it is, how you have set your ESC settings, whether your battery is top or bottom mount. It is up to you to configure the settings yourself if you wish to make it like your own quad, nobody else can tell you what to set as they do not own your quad either.
Hi! I am very new to this FPV world - great video tutorial - Thanks for posting. I am trying to understand if the camera angle can be changed while in flight? Not necessarily for racing but for cinematic purposes? From your video I get a feeling that the angle is set prior taking off and it stays for the duration of flight.. did I get that right? Thanks!
a little but as most angle mode settings that enable flight at a reasonable speed will have an angle limit of about 80 degrees and you are not always going to be at any specific angle then camera angle still remains the dominant factor.
il glad i went straight to the sim and didnt watch any videos . i learned so much faster and understood all this by messing around with settings in the first few days . self learning is so underrated these days
I just want you to know how much I appreciate first... Making a great sim, second being so helpful with the tutorials tips and explanations!!!

Great explanation too! I was trying to use all yaw in the beginning and now I use a little of both. Never really looked at the reason. Very helpful.
Thank u so much for this series, As a beginner it gives some homework to do :D. Love it
your welcome
Matty Stuntz is one of the masters of this kind of awesome illusions
Thank you, I think these tutorial series are the best ones learn to fly! ;-)

Great tips.. How did you lock it and the sound off?
This is pure gold! Thank you!
Great insight! Interesting vid. New to this there's so much to learn, this sort of heads up is helpful thank you!

please tell me what should be the settings of the quadrocopter so that it matches as much as possible in real life

@@ashleydavis614 thanks maybe you are right...

that is correct, camera angles are fixed on racing and freestyle quads
@@Velocidrone Thank you! Mind my ignorance, when you speak of freestyle quads, are those the ones videographers use?
doesnt all this also depend on what angle you set for angle mode ?

How do you adjust camera angle in sim? Tried using up and down arrows with no luck
All the keys are listed under the help icon in game
How can I change the view from FPV to third person view ?
press F
Thank you!

it all depends on how you prefer to learn
Nice rip thanks
flight training... for the very experienced flyer. WTH?
