- Hundreds of University of Texas students walked out of class for a rally organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee. Hundreds of police officers are also at the scene. The group says it is demanding divestment from the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza and is following in the footsteps of similar rallies on college campuses across the U.S.

judging from comments i have heard from students, these kids have no idea why they are protesting. they have no knowledge of the history or dynamics of the issue. some professor at the school told them to protest and so they are, but they have no idea why.

So you may not have heard. One reason for the protest is to stop a government sponsored genocide, for that would benefit Palestine. Another reason 👀 tyranny, you may have noticed 10% approval rating. The one that grabbed my nuts however was the fact that not only is Biden complicit in war crimes (you choose) but he is using an extraordinary amount of tax money to pay for it.
