I agree you should do all three of their First Take songs, if for no other reason than to see why they were the first kpop or Korean artist to be asked to sing on First Take. (It's a Japanese show) not just the First to perform there, but the first to be asked back a second time, and the first to be asked to do a song thats was still in the Korean (Hangul) language. As well as just to see how well they perform as a group with only one Take to get it done in, all at the same time. They have always been amazing at that actually. They like to do as few takes as possible recording, because it's important to them to be able to recreate on stage the relatively same level of accuracy and quality they have in the studio. (They even restrict themselves on takes for MVs. Seriously, they do some of them in as little as 3 takes I guess.)

Idk why most of stays always mistake han's line as hyunjin's TT it's obviously han guys, han has a really versatile voice and he can changed the way his rap and his tone A LOT. Really amazed me each time

Yeah, it is. Obviously, Han is the man of a million voices. I get how his parts could be sometimes confused for others. Only thing is... I might kinda be able to tell that all 1 million of them are still his 😬 yeah... I love Han and I feel those of us who are able to tell his parts from everyone else's, may also be a bit more into knowing his voice than maybe someone like Teddy. Who is understandably a STAY all day for Changbinnie lol

@@kaitoscherrytea I saw the discourse on Twitter about super board and I was so confused on why people thought it was Hyunjin, not a doubt in my mind that it was Han. Maybe I’m just used to their voices but I still feel they’re distinctly different, although I do understand on going dumb because it’s so hard to tell almost any of them apart on that one.
@@grayweathersby5028 honestly its a problem in the whole fandom when it comes to Han and Hyunjin voices lol, even this comeback with Superboard, Ssick in Oddinary and I believe there was another song as well but Im not sure now which maybe Booster? Han has a versatile voice and can sing in many ways but at the end it's still recognizable its Han. I even remember in Han's Wish U Back a lot of stays thought Hyunjin sang a line in it lol.

NOEASY their best fucking full length album no doubt. It was my first cb with them I will never forget how crazy it was ugh every track is just SO SO brilliant & giving Title-track material ~~
rap line is actually 4, Han, Binnie, Felix, and Hyunjin. Chan is more like an unofficial member if we could call him like that. 3racha is the producers line. and vocal line is Seungmin and IN, we could say that Chan and Leeknow could join to that line too, they also have a unit song as the rap line has (muddy water), their song is called waiting for us, it is a beautiful ballad.
it is actually in the lryic 'me so sick', 'me so' sounds like 'smile' in Korean and 'sick' is onomatopoeia word when you smile. skz is so genius

So in Oddinary they had the two unit songs, Waiting for Us and Muddy Water. These unit songs were based on the vocal and rap lines, Waiting for Us being the vocal unit and Muddy Water being the rap unit. The official vocal line is Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N while the official rap line is Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, and Felix. It is a common misconception that Chan is apart of the Rap line since 2/3 or 3racha are in the rap line and the rachas are called 3racha, danceracha and vocalracha. However, 3racha is not the rap unit it is simply the producing unit of skz. So skz is actually divided up half and half for rap and vocal verses 5 and 3 for rap and vocal. Although if you listen to every skz song you will find out that in the earlier years of skz Lee Know was more of a rapper than a vocalist and so was Chan. In the most recent years since Levanter Chan and Lee Know have become more vocalist than rappers, though they still rap occasionally. You'll also find after listening to most of their discography that they all sing and rap throughout all of their songs, some more than others depending on the song.
@@MorePara8 if we go by that then Felix and Hyunjin also need to be in vocal line since they sing the same amount as Han and Changbin do. And as of now the two unit songs are the new vocal and rap lines.

@@MorePara8 100% agreed (although Changbin doesn't get many vocal lines, so maybe in the future).
Also to add some more, Chan did mainly vocals since the beginning, not just since Levanter. I literally can't even think of any pre-Levanter song where he does rap other than the Mixtapes. Even in District 9 he does the main chorus part, even in Hellevator, Voices, I am You, Miroh, etc. Literally almost everywhere he does the lead/main vocals and mirroring parts with Seungmin (previously also often with WJ), because he has higher register and can do it (same goes for Han in Hellevator...because who else could hit that part?) The reason is also because there were too many members who focused mainly on rap at first, so as always he wanted to make them shine, and because of his long training he has had really stable vocals since the beginning, while today's Vocalracha were young and slowly gaining confidence to get more difficult parts. So about 95% of skz discography or more is him being a vocalist since Hellevator till now, so we are always so happy when we hear the rare ocurrence of CB97, even more so on an official release and not just a performance. We were fed so well this year. 😭
SKZ really are such a well-rounded group and you can see the vocal/rap improvement with each new comeback, even though it seems they can't do any better.☺️

Damn... if only he weren't such a brilliant rapper. It's a dilemma.😅 Oh yeah N/S, I love his part, oh and also Rock. But it is still a rarer ocurrence compared to how many songs they released until Levanter.

6:13 and 6:26 are actually Han's lines I believe, not Hyunjin's. But you're right, Hyunjin is also an amazing rapper!

Ssick is one of my top fave skz songs along with Chronosaurus, All In and 3racha! The instrumentals and drop are sooo fking good.
Also Seungmin is actually a pretty good rapper! We’ve heard him do it on variety shows a few times and I wish we could get rapper Seungmin on a track one day (other than Maze of Memories).
I think the easiest way to interpret chan’s and Felix’s “I don’t have anything special I myself am really special” part is that, they’re saying they are in no need of any sort of secondary/ external sources when they have the talent, embedded within themselves.
So basically, they don’t really have or need that “special ingredient” as they’re that special ingredient themselves. As Kanye West would say: how [skz] ain’t bring nothing to the table when [they’re] the table” LMAO

And as a bit of extra trivia for Teddy, Chan said he wrote that part specifically because he wanted to hear Felix singing it (that style and register). It's both just a really sweet little inclusion from someone who loves Felix's singing voice and wants to hear it more, and a lowkey flex with the whole "oh, btw, our 'demon voice' rapper can also sing like _this"_ thing.

Yess skz was, is and always will be my ult group. They have NO skips (for me) i love every song and they’re so different from other groups. And now they’re 4th generation leaders

Noeasy is my favorite Stray Kids album. You should check out Silent Cry & Sorry I love you(written by Binnie). They're both more vocal driven songs but total worth a listen.
One thing to keep in mind is that these color coded lyric videos don't always get it right on who is singing/rapping each part & the translations are not always correct. Of course we always appreciate the time & effort that goes into them, it's just that sometimes they aren't quite accurate.

ssick written in korean is 씩 (sshik) and it means 'smirk'.
therefore if you read the lyrics in korean, that "me so ssick" part is written as "미소 씩" (miso sshik) and it could be translated as "im smiling, smirking"
AND could also be pronounced as "me so sick" in english
Personally the more i listen to this song the more i love it, sounds so different from what they usually do also felix's vocals in it >>>

So the official "rap line" is Binnie, Han, Felix, and Hyunjin. Chan i feel like is more of a vocal in their main songs but he easily does both as we know. Lee Know is a damn good rapper to. So is Seungmin and IN. They ALL rap. They ALL sing. That's why they don't have official "roles" (main rapper etc) because they literally all, do it all. But in most songs the main rappers are Binnie, Han, Felix, and Hyunjin.. The main vocals are Seungmin, IN, Lee Know, and Chan. But they all tend to interchange depending on the song. Skz is so fucking talented.

Seungmin has filled in for the rappers during concerts. He also won for fastest rap in SKZ.
This song it's about (or I think) the obsesive fans who are always messing with the idols in the industry(in whole kpop idols), they get her/his phone, and constantly they are calling them, or they're stalking , etc etc, and i think the doble ss in sick it's for sasaeng , that are the obsessive fans in the kpop industry.

I love when we get a good Lee Know rap, doesn't happen often but when it does it's just special, it's what made Boxer such a fav for me. Seungmin can rap, he doesn't often but he can and he's also stupid fast when he wants to be. At one point he out rapped Changbin and Han, but that's probably more that he's just really good at reading outloud quickly. IN does rap as well although almost never, I think I've heard it once or twice.
NOEASY is my absolute fav album atm. The View is amazing, Silent Cry and Star Lost are two of the songs I listen to constantly, Domino is just...amazing, and we get Red Lights and Surfin'. I just love this album so much.
Definitely enjoying the new stuff, lots of more experimental stuff as well. Always looking forward to seeing where they go. Taste is honestly a level up for Lee Know and Felix, 3Racha while not my kind of jam has some great raps and Bang Chan's verse is just *chef's kiss*, and then Can't Stop is a great bop and I love Super Board.
Not sure if you've done their kind of softer/funnier songs yet but HIGHLY recommend Blueprint, Awkward Silence, Astronaut, Get Cool, Placebo, and not at all soft/funny but TA is a friggin jam!

You're right! ssick was on the Noeasy album which was released just after they won Kingdom. You probably already know this but Noeasy is a play on noisy since their music was often criticized as being "noise music." Such a brilliant album, as always thank you for a great reaction

The person who made this colour coded lyrics messed up slightly. That fast part after the chorus is actually Han and not Hyunjin! They do have similar rapping tones tho so people often get them mixed up
Edit: another mistake is in the ending where changbin and han are actually rapping. They arent sectioned out like that. If u pay attention its them going back and forth with the rapping!
Another *sick* Korean artist you should check out is BewhY! I think you would love his song Challan or Gottasadae. Also 'my land' but that one is heavy with the lyrics. Im exited to see your reaction if you have the time!!

Yeah,they have strong raplines and almost all of them can rap and 3racha are mostly know as the rap line but Hyunjin is the lead rapper and also Felix I think?...Even their main and lead vocalists can rap.

Bruh I sometimes think the people who arranges these colour coded lyrics are either deaf or haven't heard a single SKZ song before making the video, they put Hyunjin almost everywhere even though Han was the one doing those parts.
