I love the shimano SLX and curado DC’s also have SLX an and 2 of the 13 fishing R1’s and different brand and different power and actions works great for me. I do tend to go less expensive for the rods but they work well for me. I will eventually try the Googan rods but can’t replace my old ones until I get their life out of them. Can’t wait for new fishing content!!
I love my Metanium baitcaster and i have it paired with a custom rod that my buddy made. He makes ice fishing rods normally but it getting into custom open water rods. But fir the money a 2020 JDM Metanium is hard to beat.

how do you wear out a rod? i have a shakespeare quo rod that is probably 20 years old now. it still catches big pike and perch. my latest acquisition is a fox rage warrior rod in the light spin range. perfect for the bfs
I don’t really bass fish but love to watch I love my duckett crappie slayer 5’6 and my 7’0. if your willing to ship broken rod out I would take em. I replaced the eyes on most of mine’s anyway
I fish in the ocean in Ireland so its a Penn slammer 4 and Shimano tranx for bass and pollock I use a savage gear sg6 with the penn slammer and a baitcaster for the sea with the Shimano tranx the rods in the car i think its a Westint w3 jerkbait rod
I've had 2 maybe 3 rods broke in shipping out of a little over 50 in the last 4 or so years lol. Only a few came in actual tubes too. Maybe someone in your area is mad at you for fishing when they have to work 😂

To be honest with you Logan I can't afford any of the rods and reals you just showed the most expensive baitcaster I own came from Walmart and rod too. Wish I could get any of the googan rods I have heard so much about them from you and the group. But can't afford them. So in the future of you decide to give any away used or not I would love to have them .

Berkeley cherry or lews. They just seem to last so much longer for half the price. The googan baits are killer but the rods seem to break easy.
