An epic orchestral dubstep soundtrack, in D# minor.

I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of this hybrid genre. I had a lot of fun producing this track and I'm actually quite satisfied how it turned out in the end. With this track, I've now probably set myself new standards for composition, mixing and mastering.
Many sleepless nights were spent making this track, but many revelations about composition, sound design, mixing and mastering were also had.
It took about 58 hours to make this track.

The structure and rhythmical patterns of the bass are great throughout.
Just wondering, what sound packs do you use for this? Like Hollywood Strings, Percussion... I'd like to know so I can use them.

I have used EWQL Hollywood Orchestra series for most of my tracks so far. Nowadays I use Metropolis Ark 1 as my main orchestra library, you get pretty much all the essentials from it, including phonetic choirs.

@@englishbulldog651 there are some tutorials on some stuff he does like the hypergrowl, but it's not everything and there's a lot about it that i don't understand or don't have tutorials for
@@BGDMusic Yeah ive seen some tutorials and some were pretty helpful. What i'd like to see is a breakdown on one of his newer style of dubstep because that would be the most insightful.
@@englishbulldog651 a breakdown will be especially helpful. i can do dubstep just fine but those orchestral beautiful openings and endings, i cant. the many many layers i cant do either. there's a lot in the track and it's also quite hard to see
@@BGDMusic Its the sound design and arrangement of the dubstep and orchestral parts I really want to learn how to do since theres a lot of elements to it and its quite complex.

Is this more 7/8? Either way it's amazing, the choir ties the whole piece together. I thought Final Battle remix was badass but this... Keep it up ;)
Edit: Yea this is definitely 7/4 it's just bizarre cuz I expected it to sound Ego Death-esque but instead it's just like super unique. My only criticism is the piano in the middle calm part is a bit too loud and surprising. Idk if that's bad or not it just felt a little bit out of place in the track.
