Ryan Tannehill is probably the perfect backup for Miami. He is as good playing Tua's quick game as any quarterback I can think of and he's better than Tua at pretty much everything other than Tua's quick game.
YES! BRING EM BACK! He’s done better with less in Tennessee. Even if he doesn’t start he’d be a great veteran presence.

YES we need a quality backup someone who can take over and to the house. Does Tom Brady/Nick Foles/Doug Williams/Earl Morrall/Jeff Hostetler/Terry Bradshaw/Kut Warner ring a bell? Keep in mind injuries can happen any part of the season. Lets not forget taking advantage of Veteran presence too and Team/Player loyalty. Be a nice way for Tanny to retire.

I’m 67 years old and was nine years old in 66 and was excited that Florida had pro sports team. I watched all six preseason games and regular season games on tv. They really struggled before Coach Shula was hired and kids made jokes about me being a diehard Dolfan before jumping on the bandwagon. So I’ve been a fan going on 58 years now. Go Fins

Ryan knows what Miami runs and is very familiar with the Dolphins scheme.. you don't need to start over since Ryan has become close to a Elite QB who can Groom Tua as a legitimate backup that can advise Tua on defense

I like Tannehill! But if I was Tannehill, I wouldn't come back because Miami hurt him with bad coaching. More sacks than another quarterback. That was a result of BAD coaching.

yes, think what you will about Tannehill, and he was no where near elite... But for someone who played WR all through college, to be drafted at QB (I agree he was drafted way too high, but not his fault) and to have a somewhat succesfull career where other, higher hyped QB's have flamed out ( I am looking at you, RGB, and Brady Quinn) I think he has done well enough. He would CLEARLY be an upgrade over what we have. As long as it was made clear to Tannehill, THE MEDIA, and the whole team, that he is here for a backup role ONLY. Then I would be OK, Who knows, if Tua gets banged up, Tannehill may be our Don Strock!! Besides, it would make for a cool story if he could win a SB with the team who drafted him.

Well, he did go to Tennessee as a backup, then took the job with a losing record and go them into the playoffs. Year after that, #1 seed; and that's with no Derrick Henry for MOST of the season. 🤷
