I broke the clip that connects to my phone and dji doest sell that attachment yet. I talked to customer service the other day and I am still waiting for them to solve this issue and get me another one.
Hi Chrome I'm loving the build. Don't go too big on the tires, 35's would perfect, Any larger you will have to re-gear, mileage will drop and you increase the ride height overall . That may limit the trails that have low over hanging objects like tress branches.
Stick with the 35" tires. 40's look too big and and cause more clearance issues. plus gearing issues. Is your van currently running the 4:10 ratio? Loving the build, I'd also reccomend the Weldtech front Baja fenders. I use them on mine and love it.
A big time offloader suggested to me when I upgraded my 4×4 that narrow tires bite through snow and mud much better than wide ones as wide ones tend to plane too much. Sort of the opposite of asfault driving. Great vid
40"ers are hard on front knuckles for that size diff. Also might have to go to 31 spline chrome moly axles. You will also have to change front and rear gears to compensate for that size tire.
Amazing video. I loved watching the floor-laying process. Super satisfying. Like asmr blended with visual art. And oh boy! That gloss black finish on your frame is something else.
Got home tonight cracked a beer your video popped up next to Greta van fleet omg young guys rockin where how did I miss out on these guys ...you rock crome
Hey chrome.. when you go to re due the front suspension.. if interested give me a holla I'll show you the benefits from using my 4x4 brackets. They bolt in and you can use longer front links to get a better ride. Look forward to your build being on the streets.thanks for the tour of our van. Robin &Troy.
Chrome u are amazing all that shiny black paint looks great! That foam insulation looked easy to work with & the Company just received free advertising? 💙🇦🇺🍻👍
The ambulance is looking great. It’ll look even nicer when you get a lifted with bigger tires.BUT There is a price to be paid at the fuel pump. I speak from experience. Did both those things on my suburban. And on my 7.3 pick up truck. Looks great but you pay the price. Fuel economy/miles per gallon drops proportionally. 👍👍
if you heat up that dynamat it will seal even better its fire retardant so a torch will work and it will soften up the rubber on the bottom and make a better seal and it will perform better
I watch alot of vids and see the colors that pop. I love that green. I am going to paint my Hiace a similar color, haven't decided the accent color. I want my whole truck to pop. thanks for the vids
If you find a truck wash for big rigs they can steam the bottom of your truck after you come out of the bush. Heck have it done once a year will keep it nice.
OMG!!! Everything is coming together pretty sweet 😳🤯.Will you ever think about getting a snorkel, then you can go camping in even more ausom places 🤔🙏👍
Snorkel isn't necessary. The air box is above the engine and if you were deep enough in water to need a snorkel, you would have some pretty bad water damage inside the camper.
It was so funny just as this video started and before you were talking an ambulance sire went by and I actually had to turn the video off for a second to see if it was in your video or outside.
Chrome -- Should you put seam tape on the seams on that Dynaliner? That way water won't go between the seams? Just Wondering. Looks Great though. Getting ideas for when I get my F150 back on the road.
Outstanding job chrome, that plastic weld job looks great dude. Yeah the ambo is going to be sweet, you know I’ll be here following have to see it done for sure will catch you on the next one tell Crewse I said howdy until the next time peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
Thx! Been looking for the right lay for my front cab floor of 28ft Travelaire completely renovated this be the third floor install lol, I'll be certainly checking this product out.
@@montyforster3370 no, a j-roller is a tool for putting down flooring, counter tops, or anything with an adhesive backing or glue. Allows one to really apply pressure fir better adhesion
Are you going to be doing the same thing in the door for the back of the Beast Chrome for when you stand in with wet feet etc. Great video and love the series on the beast
you really need to put duels back on the back of that ambo or super singles if you can. lol it looks odd with a single wheel under that wide body lol Just had to say the obvious lol
Hey Chrome, what ever happened to you new microphones? Thanks for the content!
I broke the clip that connects to my phone and dji doest sell that attachment yet. I talked to customer service the other day and I am still waiting for them to solve this issue and get me another one.
Bud, do some research on 40s. The gas mileage will be horrible. But man are you doing things right. Keep up the great work🤙
Hope the Beast will be able to get in and out of your shop after the big tires.
All this extra work and dedication is going to pay off massively in the end. I love the way this build is going.

If anything rusts now, on this Beast, the science behind how rust happens, will have to be rewritten.

Agreed!
Yepper on the 35". This ambo is not a rock crawler.
Your on point ... I have 35s on my F-250 with 410 ratio and would go No bigger even though I could fit 37.5

I really love your Ambo built videos! I will never do the same you do but boy it is very exciting to see you transform it :)
Attention to detail is very important I love how chrome takes his time doing this
Be proud, Chrome! Be very proud! Looks great!
It’s looking cool chrome.

Chrome I’m looking the green.💚💚

Love your ‘the beast’ name for your ambo -great insights on products -very educational and motivates us to take time for maintenance-👍🏻😎
Hey Chrome Aluminum Foil works Great for masking off hard parts to paper and Tape !!!

I’m so excited about the Ambo, like it’s mine. CRAZY

Might want to be sure that once you put any lift on the ambo you will fit out the door
Love seeing how your van rebuild is evolving.
The ambo is coming along great!
Dang!! My dream home
NICE! These build videos will ALWAYS get a like from me. LOVE how these magical machines come together!!!! Keep the content coming!!!!
You are learning all kinds of new skills!

I'm excited to see a finished Beast, also, I'm excited to see your reaction to a finished Beast.
Nice job chrome love it and can't wait for all the work to be done
You're doing it Chrome. Step by step... slowly but surely! Love ya man~
if you heat up that dynamat it will seal even better its fire retardant so a torch will work and it will soften up the rubber on the bottom and make a better seal and it will perform better
Need to get a skid plate made for under cartridge to protect against large rocks and logs. Also put rock lights on it. Just my opinion.
I like watching you work and dream.. keep it up
I watch alot of vids and see the colors that pop. I love that green. I am going to paint my Hiace a similar color, haven't decided the accent color. I want my whole truck to pop. thanks for the vids
It's looking SWEET ALREADY 👍👍👍👍👍⭐
Trading up for a van mcmansion. Can’t wait for the craziness to begin.
Chrome think about painting the springs. Paint must be flexible. Normaly springs are powercoated.
If you find a truck wash for big rigs they can steam the bottom of your truck after you come out of the bush. Heck have it done once a year will keep it nice.
I watch restoration videos for relaxation and knowledge. Learning always. Show us you doing the love to your home.

I love how you're adding some of the lowrider flavor to your ambo - got to have a shiny clean frame!

Hi Chrome and Cruise ❤👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
2:15 hope you will be able to get it out of the shop when you are done LOL

If you get it all jacked up, will it make it out the door?
I'm so glad that you got to get some things done in the shop
Great video Chrome, Ambo is gonna look amazing xx
It’s going to be so badass!!!
Thanks for sharing ❤
Rust never sleeps Canadian Neal young.
I wonder if you will need to burn off the paint fumes by running motor for a few hours outside
Hi Chrome, has the high school class come back with any of their build ideas yet?
Yep you are right normal life does suck!!
👋 Chrome 👋
Nice job! You look like a perfectionist!
Thx! Been looking for the right lay for my front cab floor of 28ft Travelaire completely renovated this be the third floor install lol, I'll be certainly checking this product out.
Super cool the paint 🍀🍀🍀🍀
This will be beyond awesome when finished.
Wow I think I try that on my floors
Your enthusiasm is so infectious. That ambulance conversion is going to look epic when completed.
Wow! I love the high gloss paint and you did a terrific job on the floor!
Absolutely looking 👀 amazing
I have 37's on my Jeep!
Check out the Mickey Thompson BAJA MTZ P3's
Hi. Just wondering, when do you think the beast will be all done and ready to drive? I can't wait to see it.
Remember your going to be lifting Cruise into and out of the Beast, so don’t go to high.
So where is the hole going to be cut for the 4 wheel drive shifter
I guess it will cut somewhere in between where the seats
It looks almost the same length as the van you have right now. Can you do a comparison?
Crome are you going to get in and out the garage with taller tires
Need a J-Roller!
Are you talking about the under carriage rollers that allow you to reverse pull out capacity
@@montyforster3370 no, a j-roller is a tool for putting down flooring, counter tops, or anything with an adhesive backing or glue. Allows one to really apply pressure fir better adhesion

Rambo the Ambo ... going loco.
Great job 💪🏾
Just waiting!
All you have to do is to keep oil spraying you undercarriage and it won't rust in salt or salt air.
you really need to put duels back on the back of that ambo or super singles if you can. lol it looks odd with a single wheel under that wide body lol Just had to say the obvious lol
Lime green wheels or just the hub or green pen stripe.
You did a great job with the floor. I don't know about my ability to do the same. I have trouble with wrapping paper!
You going this far, do a body off to paint the frame. If you miss one spot you know it’s going to rust out there.
See you on another one 👍🏾
Big difference
Hi!
Stick with the 35’s…it will look perfect!
Nice !!
I've asked this question before and got no answer. So I'll ask again how much bigger can you really go before this thing will not fit in your shop?
Bro chrome honestly it's time to get a apt or studio, emmy looks like she needs it
Chrome you’re making some real progress. Everything looks so nice.
eey chrome, if the bus goes up, will it still fit through the door?
How are the students doing on the interior floor plan?
I'm wondering how much just that floor costed him, I bought some deading for my ambo but not that stuff
what did Cruze think of the paint job? he looks at it more than you do!
Do a spray bed liner on the frame. It’ll help prevent rust
Can you use the dynamite on the whole van floor.
Do they make tape ? For that product to seal the seams that is enough already just curious.
Get the coil springs powder coated, paint won't last long!
Awesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Will the Beast fit in the garage once it's lifted?
