How is it the new year if the scriptures say on the 7th month? I’m trying to figure this out 🤷🏼♂️
Not true until moon is capable of being sighted… about 3% illumination, given good conditions. New moon is NOT when moon is in full darkness.
@@carlkrohn6034 There are two calendars, the CIVIL / secular government calendar AND the religious calendar, focused on the observances, which begins with Nissan in the Spring, and the first appointed time, which is Passover.
Should i celebrate it? My moms dad was half Jewish ethnicity and his dad and his dads mom and dad and all others are Jewish ethnicity and religion please pray for there salvation. Shalom brothers and sisters. I don't usually leave a comment, but I hope this will encourage someone. I'm a 49 year old truck driver, from Texas. I surrendered my life to Christ several years ago, and great trials and tribulations followed. The Lord has been faithful to deliver me from them all. Several weeks ago, I was sleeping, and in the middle of the night, I was awakened by a very vivid dream. I was taken up out of bed, and was suddenly flying up in the sky, really fast, through clouds, with many other people. It felt so real, that my stomach literally had that tingly feeling that you get in an elevator,or on a roller coaster. I believe it was the rapture....and I really feel that we are going home sooner than we think. Be strong, and encouraged family of God. Maranatha 🎉!

I believe (by sight and knowledge) that we are coming to the end of times very quickly. Recently, Psalm 19 has become my center of understanding the urgency of my soul, and encouragement needed. Now, I have finished reading and studying Revelation (again) and have found the answers to all my dilemmas and the Lord has answered prayers with many blessings upon me. I am sure that I do not deserve His forgiveness and grace for many years of rebellion against repentance, but my changed heart has strengthened my mind to be courageous in faith of what God has bestowed upon me through Jesus Christ. I have a new heart, mind and desire because He heard my prayers and saved me. He has lifted me up unto His embrace and taken away the sound of guilt, despair, worry and anger which renders me confident in His faithfulness unto me, that the slightest separation of my Lord moves my body, mind and soul quickly running toward Him. I look forward to the new Kingdom of true perfection, to see what God has grafted me unto in His Kingdom, the tribes, the saints, the garden, the restored and glorious Temple complete with the visible proper presence of Father and Son upon their throne. Oh, Lord you are Holy, holy, holy. You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Amen.

I spent a good part of my IDF service near Nablus in biblical Samaria. We must read what Jesus said about the Samaritans. They followed the spirit of the Torah better than the Pharisees. 100 years after Jesus, they did not participate in Bar Kochba's revolt and were never exiled from the Holy Land. Much of what we know of early pre-canonical Christianity, comes from the writings of Justin Martyr, a Samaritan contemporary of Bar Kochba.
When I became a Christian, I entered the communion of the Greek Orthodox Church of Palestine. Saint Philoumenos of Jacob's Well is my patron saint. He was martyred at the well of Saint Photini, the Samaritan Woman, in 1979, the time of my IDF service. I cannot conceive of being a Jewish convert to Christianity without reconciling with my Palestinian neighbours in Nablus. May the LORD have mercy on me and my platoon mates for our sins against Samaria and its people

Some are talking about the Revelation 13 sign in the stars (with Jesus as our Day star), and that the feast of trumpets actually begins on that day, which is either the 18th or more likely the 19th this year. It’s an interesting concept.
