You two have a thing going there. The bass riffs and guitar work are really good together. Having listened to JD for so long it sounds like the only thing you need to find is desperation in the vocals. No cover of this song can be sung from a space that is not darkened by solace and deep depression.
still i dig what you are doing i love seeing the younger folks creating anything with feeling emotion expression i think a lot of people esp/young have stopped expressing their thoughts ideas concepts of life and its harsh ways the way we deal with each other any movement of art/creation if it is lacking in your life you are not contributing in a healthy way whats the opposite outcome isolation / apathy / non feeling of worth. young ones you either create or destroy. you 2 are a good image example, to mirror to others find your way to be ALIVE
Yup, these are really sweet Joy Division covers. I enjoy your playing (both of you) and your voice, as well as your visibility so I can see how you play the songs. The drum tracks were laid down with great care. After my initial search was over, I kept on listening to your channel. I dug your Misirlou. Do you know the history of the song, that it's really old Greek Rebetika? It may have been Turkish first.
Hey I'm not sure if you'll respond or not since this is quite an old video but I'm really interested in drum machines and sequencers in a way such as yourself to use in live scenarios i was wondering if you had any advice?
Hey, sure, it's basic but I'd recommend to rehearse a lot with your gear to be as prepared as possible for performing live, and to be as familiar as possible with the gear and the sequences, as most machines can't improvise like a good drummer can if anything goes wrong. Cheers
who did the art work in the background and r u planing to do original pieces and is it hard for the bass player to go up neck on chords by frets 2 thru 8 to me the neck looks so long for her to reach fast and comfortable just me maybe
Sorry for the very late reply, Karen who plays bass is also a painter, the paintings featured in our videos are all hers. We'll release original music as soon as we can, and yeah playing bass especially long scale such as this Jazz Bass isn't easy, it's just practice :) Cheers
Yes it is a programmed synth (Korg EA-1 triggering a Microkorg), and yeah, I'm dying for a drummer. This is just bedroom stuff but to rock a gig you need real drums. About the bass player, you're too late mate ;) Cheers!
Some of the best joy division covers that I've ever heard.
The detail of the light entering the room as the door in the videoclip suggesting another dimension.
One of my favorite baseline's ever ! Once you hear it you are infected for life. Lol You two sound so good ! Thank you for sharing !

"¿No crees que me equivoqué?"
Nadie escuchó nada mal
For my personal taste, the sound of hat is too loud. I like the synth and bass of this song.

your window looks like a door
how did you get the vocal verb?
Just the built-in reverb of a Alesis Multimix USB 8 mixer :)
Picture off-screen. This your work? Who author? Vyglyazhit very interestingly...
Thank you, Karen who plays bass in the band is also a painter :)
Damn you guys sound great! If you guys get a chance maybe you can checkout my cover? Thank you!

So it's just a programmed synth? Maybe you should get someone or at least a drummer... Also the bass player is beautful, I must marry her...
