This is great but until they allow pen smoothing, I am sticking with Noteful. My writing is terrible and I have a tremor so I need the pen smoothing/stabilisation function. 😭

@@ashleedigitalstudio I paid for the new version of Goodnotes and then discovered Noteful a week later. I try and use both now, but for handwriting I prefer Noteful! ❤️
I don't even use the app but comment for the algorithm. Ps. Have you considered screen recording your ipad to improve readability and the overall look of your videos?
Thank yo so much. im having issues with the writing aspect of it. im not even sure how to ask the question, so hopefully it will make sense. when i write my note, a line appears on my page next to the word im writing. this is frustrating me and i just noticed it today as i prep for my doctoral summer residency which starts next week. Goodnotes has been amazing for my program but now this? pls help me on how I can get rid of that "line"
I haven’t experienced this but I looked it up online and here are a few suggests I found:
- check for an update
- make sure the iPad is not charging while writing
- check pencil tip to make sure it’s not loose
- possibly Chang out the pencil tip

I’ve been asking for image lock since 2012. Let me know how your request goes. At this point I’ve decided they don’t care what their customers want and just add whatever features they want. How they decide that only they’ll know.
P.s. basically every other notes app BUT goodnotes has image lock…you’d think it’d be an easy enough feature to implement in 2024.

@@Ama0890we already have that feature 😅😅😅 just go to settings, document editing, toggle off object selection. Now u can only move images only when the image tool is selected.
How do you install the new sticky notes? Would love for you to show how to do this.
They should be in your elements tool once you update Goodnotes

I have a question, I currently have Goodnotes 5 and it gives me an option to go to 6, if I go will I automatically get charged for a subscription or how does that work?? Thank you
There is a free option of GoodNotes 6 that you can tryout and if you don’t like it you and switch back to GoodNotes 5

I have tried to access the sticky notes, but they are not where you indicated. . .not sure where else to look. Help!
Make sure you have updated the Goodnotes app and you may have to close the app completely. The sticky notes should appear in the elements tool
@@ashleedigitalstudio I have done this 5x. This is just one of many issues that I have had the GN6 and their techs have not been able to help. 😔

I prefer the features of GoodNotes 6. There have been a lot of new features introduced since the upgrade, which makes me feel a little better about the price.

@@ashleedigitalstudio when you highlight the text and use the “star” - that’s Goodnotes AI and it’s in beta - not everyone has it
Is Cursor mouse effect possible in good notes what we see in PC?
Yes it is and you can use Goodnotes on a PC
