Ofcourse the machine wasn’t :) however at his NY lab called Wardencliff it is said that he invented a way to distribute electricity wirelessly and many oil/car companies suppressed it, but we don’t know the actual truth. The reason I am mentioning this is who knows if Tesla ever made a machine to replicate objects? He was probably capable :)

He is shown as the lover and Angier is shown as the selfish user. He is shown as the teaser and troubler, whereas Angier is shown as the envious guy. Borden learns and displays tricks to explore magic, whereas Angier is always on the catch up and is always heavily bent to somehow overtake Borden. And, I'm not sure if Nolan did this intentionally, but the main character Bale is English whereas Angier/Jackman is Australian. Nolan being an English always uses predominantly english actors in his movies like Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Rebecca Hall, Cillian Murphy (irish), Kenneth Branagh :)
u have explained it pretty good, but in the end u went wrong in explaining about the dead body in the box, by showing that box in end it means in every show he recreates himself and kills old one by drowning him inside water box, nolan just want to explain the trick of the angiers show by showing the box, so nothing more than that, there's no more angiers copy left like u said in the end of the video

Right there the entire trick of the movie is revealed. Also multiple times when Cutter, Angier and Olivia brainstorm trying to figure out Borden’s transported man trick, Cutter says “he is using a double”, but Angier refuses to believe saying “it’s too easy”. So Cutter first instinct was right, when Olivia backs him up but Angier won’t listen then Cutter says “you don’t agree because you don’t want it to be simple”
Everyone follows their own perspective... Whenever I watch this film, I usually follow Angier. He left his name, family everything for Magic. Angier's wife died because of Bordon/Fallon, if they did right everything should have been cool. “you don’t agree because you don’t want it to be simple” because he saw the exact same person at the other end... and even the missing fingers. I feel Angier is right till the end of the movie if you see .. Angier wife died because of Bordon/ Fallon, Border wife died because of Borden/Fallon. Two people died because of them.. But Angier killed many of his duplicates.. It is kind of Suicide but It is major crime he killed himself many times

Angier feels that Borden is not feeling that way as he is the person taking the applause. So he continuously tries to steal the trick from Borden.
