WOW !!! Thank you SO much. I didn’t want to pay a plumber to come out and do this. I followed your video and I got this installed in 40 min. For a newby that’s pretty good. I just so happen to have bought the exact same Moen faucet so it was easy. Thx for taking YOUR time to do this for a big DIY Community. Bless you 👍😉
It's interesting how the water lines are flam foozled inside the interior of the faucet to connect with the sprayer after the click. Not like the old days. I'm a gonna buy me a MOEN Riley and install it on my kitchen sink. I wish I would have had all you RUclips guys back in the 60's and 70's to make it easier to do things. Thanks for the video and all your tips!
A plumber put this in, however the deck place has to be replaced. Moen is sending a new one. It looks like we will do these steps in reverse to disconnect everything. Is there a trick to get the pulldown hose disconnected from the outlet hose after they are connected with a "click". I see we leave the gasket off when using the plate. Anything else you can think of? Thanks.
Similar situation for me! I have to remove the hose because the plumber (who told to make sure I don't lose the "tool" to tighten it!) didn't tighten it enough. Now that the faucet is loose (in less than one year!), I have to uninstall the faucet in order to use that stupid tool. Saw another vid where the guy suggests using a basin wrench because you can't get it tight enough with the tool that comes with it. That might have worked before the water lines were connected!! A deep-well 3/4" socket fits perfectly and can get it really tight with the ratchet.
Great video but strange thing about faucet is the level only turn forward so looks like it starts as mixed hot/cold but only turns forward for cold. No only hot feature?
Was one of the flex supply lines labeled “hot water”? How do you know which line is connected to hot water side. I just bought one , but neither supply line is labeled “hot water”. So I’m not sure which one should be connected to hot water vale.

Thank you for the informative video! I have this exact model and need to remove the cartridge. Do you have a video for that? Thanks again!
Unfortunately I don’t, for the cost I just replaced the faucet. Thank you for taking time to view this video.
What was wrong with the old one?

They should have a red label on the hot and blue on the cold.
