jameskalmroughcut I'm very excited, it will be my first of many. Although I may have made the wrong choice in choosing to head a posse of "non-artsy" friends; I'm always happy to be a guide and provide my interpretations, but the intense brevity of works I'm anticipating will be extreme and stimulating to my ducklings, no less myself. I felt a bit better when one mentioned his appreciation for Royal Robertson, but I'm anxious as to how I will maneuver my first art fair with three or four folks in tow. Any suggestions on how I prepare my guests for what could be confusing, revelatory, or just plain pointless work (from their perspectives)?
A very interesting video. I realize it was posted years ago, but still, may I ask in the future could you please steady the camera and not pan so much? I agree that "Outsider Art" is often defined too broadly. Works like Andy Dixon´s (15:30) have no place here, nor do most of the works shown in the last section. Thank you!
Watching your videos have become an unexpected habit for me James. Love the outsider art. Really fresh and unique perspectives

Smile, and tell them to just enjoy the experience(?).
Some pretty good work there.

ALL artists are outsiders.
