Wow! Crazy ending! This video is super useful to new Storytellers like me to get a sense of what the connections and thought processes are for running the game. LOVE IT.
The topic itself is awesome! Unfortunately the given environment makes it really hard to understand you with all the background noises. Especially when you turn your head away. Hopefully we will see more of this, even with the same topic, but different set ups (smaller groups) and better sound ;)
That's fair enough to think just from watching this, but really the rulebook itself is that exact guide. It's constructed in such a way that it onboards new Storytellers into the process gradually, beginning from simple setups and instructions that allow great games to happen right away, and then moving into more advanced concepts and ideas once they're across those. - Evin
Awesome video format! Succinctly explaining the game instead of the full-fledged long recording, love it. However, I find the game end anticlimactic, basically Good lost due to basic counting or "not paying attention for a bit" error?
Ditto. It’s been a long wait. The Shut Up and Sit Down review excitement is waning if not gone. I hope they didn’t miss their window of opportunity! The trump virus really hurt party games amongst everything else
Honestly my experience is that for those that are actually playing this game the excitement hasn't faded at all. The game basically already exists in everything but the most technical sense and for me an actual finished grimoire will be great but since there is so much BOTC being played and run online currently there is not much reason to feel we have to "wait" much at all. As it happens most of my friends who have pre-ordered, backed on KS are doing so mainly out of support for PI for creating such an amazing game, knowing that they will be able to play the game (as they can now) from the official STs they know and people with DIY grimoires. Point is, if you want to play the game, there is zero reason to wait for release, especially in these COVID times when games are at the click of a button.
Some constant noise is good for the ST to move around unheard, but yeah. It's better with a quiet room and a couple of fans, or apps that make sounds. (And no creaky / soft floors.)

ouch, i feel for the mayor, what a way to go
Great video to help walk-through a sample game from the eyes of a story teller!
This was awesome. Thanks for explaining the storyteller perspective. Excited to give this a go.
Awesome! Can you do this for the other editions as well?

The auto-generated captions are pretty accurate so you can use those too
After watching about four minutes of this video I feel like I'm going to need a "Storytelling for Dummies" book when I finally get my copy. 😔

Coming late to the party, but why didn't the Imp vote against mayor as well? This way they wouldn't need the blunder from the mayor
It's sometimes hard to say why Imps do anything. I've seen players lose games on the final day simply because they forgot to vote. 😅

Evil didn't win this game so much as good losing it.
which is crazy because the spy didn't even really communicate with the imp it seems like
Where can I buy this game?
Don't even get everybody started 🙈

You can pre-order at bloodontheclocktower.com/buy or build your own if you don't want to wait.

You can play online, and you can watch amazing edited playthroughs from No Rolls Barred. There’s a link to the emulator in their descriptions.
botc nice
A microphone. Goodness, you need a lapel mic.
Stooooopid Mayor🤦
Awful setting mate, too bad
