I'm graduating from my high school today and yesterday we had a ceremony for the seniors. Our grade level principal put the whole thing together and wanted to teach our entire class something. she showed us this video and let us listen to this song. and we had our own board to write a word. it's hanging in our lobby.

3/10 Come the day we go to the hospital I was scheduled to have a c-section due to the head circumference as I’m getting prepped for surgery I’m feeling both anxious and excited. We asked the nurse to put Jana Kramer as the music playing during the surgery which was perfect. Up until that moment Chad and I hadn’t fully discussed what the first name was going to be because we wanted to wait and see her first. He knew what was on my heart but it was his choice, when we both laid eyes on her however all questions went out the window. The doctor asked us if we had a name picked out and we locked eyes and smiled, then he uttered Jana Grace. That was one of the most wonderful moments I have ever experienced. Shortly after being born she had to be taken to the NICU where she stayed for a few days and we were released on Mother’s Day! A week later our little warrior endured brain surgery to have her shunt placed. Later that month she was admitted and spent many weeks in the hospital soon after because she wasn’t gaining weight. Six months later she had to have emergency open heart surgery and weighed only 12lbs. That was an excruciating 2-3 weeks to bare and not just because of sleepless nights on the hospital floor because neither of us would leave her side, but just watching our sweet angel endure what she had. Thankfully and by God’s grace after she had her surgery she soon began to take off developmentally. When she was born the doctors told us not to expect her to walk, talk, or even ride a horse. The talking came first and finally by the age of 3 she was walking. We kept holding on to the Hope, Faith and LOVE (which we have penned as hers because Jana Kramer has a song called “Love”) and God saw her through. She is the one that has taught us Love. She is still behind but it progressing at a comfortable pace.

Well I came from nothing, I've made millions of dollars in many years time, then I went to being so poor, that we had to get all of our food for our family at a church food bank!!!! And all I can say is, that God is the only one sure thing in this life, that we live, while here on earth!!! And when I say, she suffered in so many ways, that would have just completely broke, and destroyed me, If my God wouldn't have carried me and blessed me, with the kind strength, faith, and hope, I seriously couldn't have done it!! God allows such tragedies, for the very reason to strengthen us and make us more like him!!! I'll make this short!!! May 6 of 2006 I had heart failure due to suffering from severe anorexia nervosa. I coded five times in one day and the last time, for 33 minutes!! I also had to have 14 Pints of blood transfusion, and my heart rejection fractions were at 9%!!! I was in a coma for six weeks, and also had three surgeries in four days!!! They could not sow me back up, for four days due to the fact, that my kidneys and liver had shut down!!! I as well had to have, a feeding tube for six months and I became insulin diabetic!!! Now to the moral of the story, I shouldn't still be here today but I am, because God has bigger plans for me!! And so does He for you!!!

Look As a 32 year old male I thought that working as much as I could to support my 3 Children was what I needed to do to better there lives. I certainly think work ethic is important for sure, But I worked so hard to make a name for the American dream that I missed the only Three months with my beautiful 3 mouth old who tragically passed away and for what...…. Id give everything to just have one more minute with my little boy. Enjoy the time you have and never let it pass you by every second counts!

3/10 Come the day we go to the hospital I was scheduled to have a c-section due to the head circumference as I’m getting prepped for surgery I’m feeling both anxious and excited. We asked the nurse to put Jana Kramer as the music playing during the surgery which was perfect. Up until that moment Chad and I hadn’t fully discussed what the first name was going to be because we wanted to wait and see her first. He knew what was on my heart but it was his choice, when we both laid eyes on her however all questions went out the window. The doctor asked us if we had a name picked out and we locked eyes and smiled, then he uttered Jana Grace. That was one of the most wonderful moments I have ever experienced. Shortly after being born she had to be taken to the NICU where she stayed for a few days and we were released on Mother’s Day! A week later our little warrior endured brain surgery to have her shunt placed. Later that month she was admitted and spent many weeks in the hospital soon after because she wasn’t gaining weight. Six months later she had to have emergency open heart surgery and weighed only 12lbs. That was an excruciating 2-3 weeks to bare and not just because of sleepless nights on the hospital floor because neither of us would leave her side, but just watching our sweet angel endure what she had. Thankfully and by God’s grace after she had her surgery she soon began to take off developmentally. When she was born the doctors told us not to expect her to walk, talk, or even ride a horse. The talking came first and finally by the age of 3 she was walking. We kept holding on to the Hope, Faith and LOVE (which we have penned as hers because Jana Kramer has a song called “Love”) and God saw her through. She is the one that has taught us Love. She is still behind but it progressing at a comfortable pace.

Well I came from nothing, I've made millions of dollars in many years time, then I went to being so poor, that we had to get all of our food for our family at a church food bank!!!! And all I can say is, that God is the only one sure thing in this life, that we live, while here on earth!!! Money will never be able to give you everlasting authentic peace, joy and everlasting love-things are always changing and always will be in this world we live in!!!

And when I say, she suffered in so many ways, that would have just completely broke, and destroyed me, If my God wouldn't have carried me and blessed me, with the kind strength, faith, and hope, I seriously couldn't have done it!! God allows such tragedies, for the very reason to strengthen us and make us more like him!!! I'll make this short!!! May 6 of 2006 I had heart failure due to suffering from severe anorexia nervosa. I coded five times in one day and the last time, for 33 minutes!! I also had to have 14 Pints of blood transfusion, and my heart rejection fractions were at 9%!!! I was in a coma for six weeks, and also had three surgeries in four days!!! They could not sow me back up, for four days due to the fact, that my kidneys and liver had shut down!!! I as well had to have, a feeding tube for six months and I became insulin diabetic!!! Now to the moral of the story, I shouldn't still be here today but I am, because God has bigger plans for me!! And so does He for you!!!

Look As a 32 year old male I thought that working as much as I could to support my 3 Children was what I needed to do to better there lives. I certainly think work ethic is important for sure, But I worked so hard to make a name for the American dream that I missed the only Three months with my beautiful 3 mouth old who tragically passed away and for what...…. Id give everything to just have one more minute with my little boy. Enjoy the time you have and never let it pass you by every second counts!
