She is a talented musician. I saw Tanita Tikaram at University of Leicester in October 1988 when I was studying there in my first year and Helen was the violinist in her band, which must have seemed relatively sedate and calm after the madness of the Dexy's years! She has played with various artists, including The Adventures ( Broken Land, 1988).
