They grabbed her because she had a warrant and was running away.

Knives are "arms" according to the US Supreme Court, and therefore their possession and bearing are protected by the 2nd Amendment.

Thank you for centering the camera! It said the first lady had a warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in court. The officer had to arrest her.

I keep a knife in my car here in NY. The blade can't be longer than 4" though or spring loaded. It's 3.9" and sharp as fuck.
I mainly use it for opening packages haha I don't walk around with it because I'm not a paranoid person. Never been mugged in 35 years because I keep my wits about me.

Wow Daz thinking you’re gonna be arrested for having a baseball bat in your car is insane! I know the laws over there are different but I never would have been able to goto baseball games or practice without having a fear of being arrested… UK needs to sort there stuff out that’s CRAZY!

Female cop can't deal with one woman. How will she deal with a man?

Most men would have called for backup in that situation too. Found the obligatory sexist boar, there's always a few lurking waiting to pounce on these comments sections.

I have zero issues with women being cops, as long as they can stand up to the same physical standards as ALL cops. Not even most men can pass the physical test, myself included at my age.
Although, the thing is you only need to pass the physical exam once. For every fat-fuck cop you see, they were in shape when they passed the test initially. I think that's a mistake.

Knife laws in Kansas are pretty much as follows, you can own any knife you want. Spring loaded, butterfly, short sword, long sword, halberd. Literally any bladed weapon is legal to conceal carry or open carry.

As far as knives go it’s pretty common to carry knives here in the US especially if you grew up in the country or work in construction or anything like that.
I’ve always had a box cutter and a pocket knife on me pretty much every day since I was a kid because I grew up in a family business where I used them everyday but culturally I guess it’s a lot different here than in the EU, I’ve never pulled mine even during fights and stuff like when this drunk dude pointed a loaded pellet gun at my head and I grabbed it and ‘broke’ the barrel thus making it unable to fire and then even when his buddy jumped on my back and tried to choke me out I still kinda just fought them off for a minute or so because I tucked my chin so I wasn’t actually choking plus they were drunk as hell and I was fairly sober and nearly a foot taller than the manlet hanging on my back but it would’ve gotten pulled and used pretty quickly if my buddy didn’t come and demolish said manlet.
I’ve been a in a few instances like that where I didn’t start it and didn’t pull anything but almost had to but in all the fights I’ve seen (hung out with fairly wild crowd back then) I only saw a knife get pulled once and it wasn’t used and shouldn’t have even been pulled but it was over a girl of all things so logic went out the window
Edit: as far legality goes it varies but generally it’s completely legal to carry pretty much any knife anywhere except into most government buildings and obviously airports (unless it’s in a checked luggage bag) and most bars and alcohol establishments will have signs saying no knives but plenty of people will still carry them and it’s never really a big deal and if a bouncer catches you with it they usually just tell you to tuck it in your pocket or confiscate it till you leave or worst case kick you out but I don’t know if it’s technically illegal to carry them in bars however it is with firearms at least in most places

Yea i used to carry a knife for my last job and although I would take it to Dunkin you better believe I didn't take it into any medical related buildings lol. It's much more convenient to carry a razor blade than you'd think. I used it out of work multiple times a week.

US here. You can openly walk around carrying a dagger in my state

  • @TreyM1609

“ Is it legal to carry knives in the states? “ yes it is fix blade knives are also legal in certain places. I prefer to stick to the things I know about like carrying a gun on my waistband or In my car. One thing you’ve gotta remember though if you have any felony conviction or some misdemeanor convictions you’re not aloud to carry either. I think the reason for this stop is because she had a warrant which would possibly mean she’s not aloud to carry any weapon but I don’t know the complete facts of her history.

The only time you may not carry a knife is on planes and in most if not all schools. But I'm 75 and been out of school for many years back when you could carry a knife [pocket type knife not one you carry on our belt]
