Pancham da salaam! Pamcham da was as different as his father! But still different from his father, S D Burman sa'ab! While the father revelled in folk tunes, the son added some bit of disco, some assymmetry of jazz, while keeping the melody largely intact! This music is carried forward somewhat, by, I personally feel, A R Rehman saheb! While Bappi da on the other hand, in his own right, gave us some pure melodious disco songs, never before seen in Hindi cinema!
