After viewing this video, I am pumped to take out my Bandit 1250 with the BlackWidow header and your SuperTuner. Really enjoy your videos, knowledge and experience. Keep them coming.
Glad I got you back out there to twist that throttle Joe ... lol. I wish I had more time to make more vids, but running the shop and developing a new property, and retirement shop has my head spinning. Liza and I need to move closer to our doctors. If I live through it all, it will be time to have more fun ! Thanks Dale
Hi Levi, I hope to get the dyno video up this week if I can find the time. Even though its quick, Yamaha has this thing really nurtured. We will work on that in the near future. Cheers DW
Looking forward to the dyno video! I like the sound with your Hotshot muffler. It's perfect! I installed a complete Yoshi exhaust system with their canister type muffler on my ZX10 back in 1988, and it sounds a lot like yours, (at least on my computer 🙂) even though it's a 3 cyl vs 4 cyl. Good sounds!
Following you Dale, love your videos on the MT-09 very educational. I am wanting the akrpovik myself the one that is hidden under the bike. Waiting for your 2nd video on the air filter DNA. Thank you for your great videos👍
Love to see a segment on that Royal Enfield. From what I've read and seen its a pretty nice bike. I guess it's easy to find hard parts on it and the front end washes out if you push it fairly hard. Other than that it's a fairly sweet bike.
Hi Wayne, I recently bought a new 22 Himalayan & the 650 Interceptor for about the same cost and one bike made in Japan. The finish and quality is actually very good. I've been cleaning up the 650 INT making it my own, but still waiting on a few parts to finish it up. I will do a video on the bike pretty soon most likely. Cheers Dale
Thanks that was a great how to Dale. Just wondering the total time it took you? Really love that bike. Have always liked the Speed Triple as well from Triumph. Although I think Yamaha is the better choice. That's just me though. Good luck with the Dyno.
Hi Wayne, I spent a good part of a full day doing this install, but thats also with the camera work. Id say its about a 4 hour job, and its also good to have a helper. This video will really help out I'm sure for many. IMO the new MT-09 is the best value in the triple world. Cheers Dale

Sounds super- nice work, as usual, Dale. Let's see the dyno results!

Thank you as well David, I will be back ! DW
Yoshimura make a lovely full system for the MT09 & you don't have to have the bike remapped (so long as you keep OEM air-filter).
You can install any exhaust without remapping !

Where did you purchase the exhaust from? Great video! Thanks!
Directly from Black Widow, they have them on e bay or their website. The back half is my own Holeshot Performance. DW
Real nice sizzle at idle.
I love the sound of triples also. Out on the road the new MT-09 also has a great intake roar ! I will pin a few other videos here at the top soon. DW
Does anyone know if the gen 4 is similar to this? Havent been able to find any vids on the new gen 4s
I think its the same.
