I would love to have a capture card that can capture RAW to the PC from the camera, like the Shogun Ultra or the Ninja Ultra. one day... I hope you can get your hands on one of those snapdragon laptops to test encoding and how it would work for streaming in the near future.

What do you think about using it as some kind of CamLink replacement? I can’t seem to find any other external capture card that can capture 4K 60fps unless it is HDMI 2.1. I know that most of the time the camera image on stream or video is very small, but would be great to capture the camera image without being limited to 4K30 or a lower resolution to get 60fps. The price seems very reasonable too. Great video as always!

I'm looking for a capture card that does 1440p 120hz at the lowest possible latency. The razer ripsaw x has the lowest latency but only does 1440p 60hz. I'm capturing ps5 and then streaming to a VR headset. I tried the elgato 4k x but its not playable. I thought it would be better than the razer.
We need a some new capture device , you don't need a pc big touch screen everything build in, you can connect your mic and camera, supporting hevc and up to 4k60fps stream.I am ready to pay 1000 euro for this

I’ve been keeping my eye on it! Have an old Halo 5 edition VCR that I haven’t updated in a few years (afaik) that I’m hoping to mod up when it’s ready and there’s something to actually do with it lol
@EposVox Sweet bro! With the one x, expand the temp content partition on your hdd because otherwise halo 5 won't fit. I tried to dump halo 5 on my series (don't think they have the temp content partition), but it didn't seem to work. Got stuck streaming it in
I got the Shadowcast 1 and it's been quite terrible (I just use it as HDMI capture for my facecam now), so I honestly didn't really have much faith in the Shadowcast 2 or 2 Pro. Glad I didn't buy it given the issues it has in this review. :\
It couldn’t actually capture 60fps at 1080p, had bad audio issues, variable latency, and was a rehousing of a card you could get as low as $5 elsewhere. That’s bad lol
@@EposVox fair, I didn't use mine much despite having backed it due to some of the above mentioned latency issues, I had hoped they would fix it somehow in software/firmwayre but that never occurred so i passed it off to a friend.
@@EposVox Hands down having the HDMI male end on the card and a USB C port was its best USP of the first ones. The other ones having a huge dongle hanging out of my USB port with a HDMI cable then hooked into it was felt like a disaster waiting to happen.

shadowcast wasn't bad, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I'm actually interested in the shadowcast 2 pro.

Tbh just spend a bit more and get the Elgato HD60 X, it's what I have for my Switch, and after getting everything hooked up it works great.
Or the Atomos Ninja V, cleanest and most professional ProRes I've ever seen
