@@joeonline7769 I dont mean in lyrics form. I mean how the song progresses. It starts of sad and desperate for help but slowly, and the lyrics kind of support it saying pls tell my what this life is, how this story ends which signifies kanekis troubles in the start with adapting.
It goes on to become painful with heavy instrumental rock in between signifying the tortures and pain he had to deal with.
It then goes onto acceptance and rage like him vs Jason at the end. While the lyrics are sad, the progression of the song and how it evolves is symbolic to that of kanek8

And this song is the best intro any anime has that describes the tragedy that Kaneki Ken has been through... The animation didn't do any justice to the manga it deserved so much more

I've seen both the anime and the manga, though I've watched the anime first. That's probably why there's a bias in my opinion but i still feel like the anime holds a special place for me. But I just prefer animes over manga in general. I've noticed some parts of the manga that are quite interesting but aren't included in the anime. Overall, I don't feel like the anime deserves the bad reputation it received.

i think most people realize it but i just want to point out that this song is just a flock of emotions. the instrumental, the lyrics, and the music complimented each aspects. i personally really addicted started from this part 3:30. the drop beat of piano before he sings 'oshiete' is so intense and gut wrenching.

⚠️SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2⚠️ I have this song downloaded and anytime I hear it I immediately start crying because I love Hide so much and he’s always been my favorite character since he’s always been there for Kaneki even after everything that happened. Everytime this song plays I immediately start thinking about that scene where Kaneki was carrying him dead body through the snow. I cried so hard watching that because of how close they were and Hide always being there for him. It’s so sad. Plus he was my favorite character-
The lyrics are so touching and reflecting 2022 and the people today, most people are really depressed and dont want to be seen. No smiles on there faces, the music is tense and underrated too.

This song…makes me wanna cry. When I was 13 I went through puberty and it was the worst year of my life. I was a happy person before but after 13 I could never look anyone in the eye ever again. I still can’t. It felt like no one understood. Everyone told me that my hormones were to blame but i kept blaming myself. My thoughts were terrible and at night everything was worse.
At this moment, things are fine, but this song hurts my heart because I wish I had known it existed. I’m glad it exists and I hope that someone can find solace in this song and in this post.
