Mk you are amazing your cakes are absolutely gorgeus I will try it with the mexican jelly that has a great flavor but I need to practice the russian pipes thanks for share God Bless You
Wow! You are amazing, young lady! I have no idea how could you do that without the buttercream dissolving with the jelly! Awesome, and beautiful, thanks for sharing that technic
Hi there! So it's basically tasteless - you need to flavour jelly for it to have some kind of distinct taste. You can add whatever flavourings you like to it :)
Hi there! Yes it can be used as a substitute, although the exact quantities I'm not sure of sorry! You will need less though as agar agar is stronger than gelatine :)
Hey Pretty Girl! Can You Do More Gel Frosting Videos I Love your Teachings , you make it easy and also I hope your feeling better, you are a God sent!!!!
Hey Melanie!! Do you mean using gel colours to colour icings?? So glad to hear you're enjoying the videos, will keep your suggestions in mind for future videos :D
Thank you so much :D And yess good question! I actually wanted to do this too but didn't have the right gelatine on hand. So it's best to use gelatine sheets as opposed to powdered gelatine and they will give you a clear jelly :)
Does the jelly stay stuck to the cake? I've used it in between layers before (with BC under & above) but the layers just slip off! Just concerned that if I do a whole cake, the outside jelly will detatch itself from the cake when sliced.
This cake looks wonderful and I loved your technique. Great work. I do have a question if you don’t mind, how long does it stay stable in the room temperature once you remove the mould ?
Hi there! :D Because of the gelatine content in the jelly, it's super stable! It should stable for as long as you need, just don't leave it in direct sunlight and be a little more careful in super hot weather :)
Thank you Faiza! :) And as the other user has kindly mentioned, you can find halal gelatine (it's harder in some places than others). Agar agar would do the trick too but I'm just not sure of the exact quantities required sorry! You will need less though as agar agar is stronger than gelatine :)
Hi Shubnam! Hmmm I think whipping cream will probably be too soft for something like this, but you could try with a stabilised whipped cream and pour the jelly in really really slowly! :)
Hi Leo! Hmmm this is a hard one! Maybe think of things that interest them (perhaps a sport) and find some cool figurines (or use fondant) to decorate the cake :)
Hi there! Thank you so much :) and yes agar agar can be used as a substitute, although the exact quantities I'm not sure of sorry! You will need less though as agar agar is stronger than gelatine :)
Hi there! I assume veg gelatine would just be the same quantity as in the recipe, however with agar agar you will need to use less as it is stronger. You can find a quantity converter online to see the amount you will need :)
To be honest, I have never heard of this being done before. Thanks for showing us how it can be done. You make it look so easy.
Just so pretty. I’m amazed with your skills MK

btw i love your videos !!
Hi there! So it's basically tasteless - you need to flavour jelly for it to have some kind of distinct taste. You can add whatever flavourings you like to it :)

Hi, great work, how long after buttercream can you add the gelatin? Thanks
Would agar agar powder work as a substitute?
Hi there! Yes it can be used as a substitute, although the exact quantities I'm not sure of sorry! You will need less though as agar agar is stronger than gelatine :)
@@CakesbyMK Thank you!
Your tutorials are lucid. Please! make a video on Frosting with mangoes or some creative works with using mangoes.
Thanks so much! And will keep your suggestions in mind for future videos :)
Great job💪😁
Very nice 👍🏻
Assalamu'alaikum MK🥰. Love ur work, its just fascinating🤩 n awesome 💖. Any tips on how to get the jelly crystal clear?
Wassalaam! Thanks so much Zaynab! :) And to get clear gelatine I believe it's best to use gelatine sheets :)
Your colours are so rich which brand do you use.

Good sharing
Butter cream recipe please😊
Hi there! I have the buttercream recipe linked in the description box :)
Wowwww 😍😍😍 Biggest FAN of U,plzz tell me If I want transparent jelly colour than what can I do ??? Because gelatin is yellow in colour
Thank you so much :D And yess good question! I actually wanted to do this too but didn't have the right gelatine on hand. So it's best to use gelatine sheets as opposed to powdered gelatine and they will give you a clear jelly :)
@@CakesbyMK Thank u so much for reply me ..... plzzz tell me how many sheets we use in this cake ???
How can I get the recipe please thank it’s gorgeous
Thank you
Thank you for your teachings. Please how long does it stay outside the fridge after one is done?
You're so welcome! And this will stay out for ages its a pretty stable jelly :) just don't keep it in direct sunlight :)
The cake is already so beautiful @6:00 doesn't need any jelly.
Thank you so much! I preferred the non-jelly version of the cake too :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Does the jelly stay stuck to the cake? I've used it in between layers before (with BC under & above) but the layers just slip off! Just concerned that if I do a whole cake, the outside jelly will detatch itself from the cake when sliced.
Can you use flavoured jelly or does it have to be gelatine?
Hi there! You can add flavouring to your jelly but I don't think the packet one from the shops will be strong enough to hold up a shape like this :)
@@CakesbyMK Jazakallah
Hi I love your cakes but a question. Do you leave the bottom part of the cake mold on ?
Hi there! Nope I don't - the jelly sits directly on the cake board (you would need to make sure you're using a waterproof cake board) :)
This cake looks wonderful and I loved your technique. Great work. I do have a question if you don’t mind, how long does it stay stable in the room temperature once you remove the mould ?
Hi there! :D Because of the gelatine content in the jelly, it's super stable! It should stable for as long as you need, just don't leave it in direct sunlight and be a little more careful in super hot weather :)
amazing work ✨buuut gelatin isnt halal for me sooo i think agar would do the trick ?
You can buy halal gelatin
@@butterkeks3007 never knew that was a thing anyways ill see if its available in my country !
Thank you Faiza! :) And as the other user has kindly mentioned, you can find halal gelatine (it's harder in some places than others). Agar agar would do the trick too but I'm just not sure of the exact quantities required sorry! You will need less though as agar agar is stronger than gelatine :)
Can we do this with whipping cream also? In India we use more of whipping cream and buttercream isn't very common.
Hi Shubnam! Hmmm I think whipping cream will probably be too soft for something like this, but you could try with a stabilised whipped cream and pour the jelly in really really slowly! :)
any ideas for boy’s 21st birthday cake something unique 😀?
Hi Leo! Hmmm this is a hard one! Maybe think of things that interest them (perhaps a sport) and find some cool figurines (or use fondant) to decorate the cake :)
Gorgeous! Can I use agar agar for this?
Hi there! Thank you so much :) and yes agar agar can be used as a substitute, although the exact quantities I'm not sure of sorry! You will need less though as agar agar is stronger than gelatine :)
Pls does the swiss meringue buttercream melt easily
It's one of the most stable buttercreams. It does become soft at room temp but holds it's shape very well :)
Thanks for showing us real techniques.... if I see another "how to cover a cake with buttercream" 😂😂😂
What can I use instead of acetate sheet plz I want to make this cake ,I shopped around in my area no acetate sheets
Kindly upload English subtitles 🙏
Hoping to get to this when I get some time! Thanks for the suggestion :)
Can you use American buttercream
Yes you can :)
@@CakesbyMK thanks
Do you have a link to where you bought the gelatin? I don’t work with gelatin often because I can’t find a halal version
Hi Sara! Here is the link of the brand that I bought that is halal :) www.newworld.co.nz/shop/product/5002723_ea_000nw?name=gelatine-clear-powder
beautiful. Whats the consistency? I.have tried couple of.times with these nozzles but failed.
Hi Harshini! You want the consistency to be quite firm - not too soft :)
@@CakesbyMK Thank you
Can I use other type of buttercream.?
Hi Wendy! Yes you can - as long as it sets firmly when placed in the fridge :)
i have veg gelatine or agar agar .. how to use it as sunsitiute
Hi there! I assume veg gelatine would just be the same quantity as in the recipe, however with agar agar you will need to use less as it is stronger. You can find a quantity converter online to see the amount you will need :)
I thought this is gonna be a 3D modelling tutorial 😅
If I wanted to be lazy could I use packet jelly?? I haven't watched the full video yet..
Beautiful work
Beautiful work always but you don't add the grams of the recipes...
Hi there! Hmm I'm not so sure packet jelly will be strong enough to hold it's shape like that. Probably best to stick to making the jelly :)
Hi Deborah! Thank you :) and you can find the quantities for all my recipe videos in the description box :)
@@CakesbyMK thank you, I never thought of that.
Beautiful cake. Beautiful girl. But she needs to stop talking with her hands, very hard to watch.
