Always wanted to transcribe this amazing piece from the Symphony X Masterpiece that is "V" !! 🤘
So here it is all overdubbed with horn and trumpet, and while I was at it I thought it'd be nice to also add an entire choir to the Lacrimosa part 😃

This really makes me wish all the more that SX would remaster some of their earlier work with proper orchestral parts rather than synthesizers/programmed parts (the Odyssey comes to mind first and foremost). Your rendition sounds fantastic

Whoa! are they "classically trained"? that's an awesome use of the octatonic scale! I've only listened to a little bit of Symphony X, so I'm not too familiar with them
