LEGOLAND BILLUND Full Tour! 🇩🇰

- Check out LEGOLAND BILLUND! It is split into a bunch of different sections that include shopping, Mini Land, Arctic, Pirates, Vikings, Western, LEGO Movie, and many more. All of the sections are full of crazy LEGO builds and rides; I've got to say that Mini Land is my favorite! Some of the rides looked pretty cool, but for the most part, they are designed for a younger audience.
I ended up going back to the park to go on some of the rides and capture some 360 footage - that content will be featured in a different video. After editing the video and giving it some more thought outside of my park day, here are some of my thoughts. LEGOLAND Billund... definitely an experience and pretty epic! With that said I think there are some things that could be improved. Some of the builds are dated and weathered - but the hot sun and rain would make that hard to maintain. I also feel like the park might be struggling with some theming. The issue is that once you remove licenses they can't use in their parks such as Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, etc... there isn't much left. So, with that being said, I think there should be a bigger focus on their products. For example, at this park in particular, I didn't see very many sets on display. They should have an indoor facility that focuses on a minifig scale city that has both custom and sets. I also went back and rewatched my LEGOLAND Florida video ( • LEGOLAND Florida Full ... ) and determined that that park MIGHT be marginally better. Okay, I'll stop there and talk about this more in a different upload because I could write an essay... in the end, I still think the park was spectacular, had some amazing builds, and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Hey bricksie
That is were the lego house comes in :-D i live en Denmark, and the lego house has the wildest and biggest minifig scale citys! :-D
When was this? I was there last friday
I think it's a double-edged sword with the dated and weathered builds. Since the park is pretty old, there's some nostalgia to it now. Parents who come there with their kids will recognize things from when they were kids themselves. There's that generational overlap that adds value to the experience.
On the other hand, if you haven't been there 20 years ago, then the old and weathered builds just look old and weathered.
Interesting observations, as someone from neither continent, I'm not really a fan of the skyscraper architecture that you obviously find more familiar. So I think the Billund architecture wins that part for me. But other areas, I see your point.
Awesome😁
Best Lego quote so far, “….This isn’t plastic it’s LEGO.”
I loved all the mini vegetation in Mini Land. The upkeep on those tiny trees must be insane - like a thousand bonsai trees.
I love the wholesome enjoyment you get out of your experiences mate. My 6 yr old daughter crawls into bed with me in the morning and asks to watch your latest videos. She especially loves the VLOGs with Millie and Benjamin!
What an amazing tour! I love the mini world of Denmark! They did such a great job showing off that classic European architecture, and I love all the colorful elements and moving components (that bus and the trains). Glad you had a good time, thanks for taking us along!
This has been one of my favorite videos you have done. Thanks for taking us along for the ride Jordan. Enjoy your trip and can't wait for the next videos
Really enjoyed the tour of Legoland. All the buildings were just amazing. Thanks for sharing and enjoy.
thanks for showing this in such great detail it honestly felt like I was there
Thank you for taking us along on your trip.
Here is some interesting info for you. As a Dane I recall only have been to Legoland twice as a kid, it looks very different than when I went there as a kid in the 80's.
Legoland kept a few items around. The Mount Rushmore is a part of the original park.
The danish flag build and the marching band at the entrance also brings back fond memories.
They western town used to have actual horse rides.
Sales tax in Denmark is 25% on everything which explains the prices.
Bricksie will never fail to post and entertain us❤
Wow, I’m impressed how it is not crowded at all. I live close to the California park and as an annual pass holder, it is kind of crowded during the week. I have been to the Florida one and I cannot wait to go to the motherland of legos.
Its funny, ive been at lego land Billund about 4 times. im 15 years old and live in Sweden.
Love your videos, keep up the good work!!!
Hope you have a great time in Denmark! Can't wait to see the shop at the park.
I've been loving this VLOG series a whole ton and the videos have been coming out so quickly! Really good vibes from your first one too, just walking around town and taking in all of the sights felt so genuine, your enjoyment is quite palpable! :D
lol it’s funny you uploaded this by accident but still a great video, enjoyed the tour it looked fun!
That airport looks so friggin cool. If I had a huge room to put that in and the entire set to build, I think I might cry.
I started to try building my own lego city 😄
same here bricksie was my inspiration i have built 3 custom modulors
Do or do not, there is no try! 😅😅
Loved the Monster Fighters! So cool.
as a norwegian my vacation every year was traveling to denmark for legoland and more(7 years in a row). miss those times. hope to travel there again sometime. my favorite thing was mini land and the firetruck. there are a lot that has been changed out with new things so im eager to check out the changes irl
Thank you for the nice tour! Can't wait to see more! ❤
You are definitley correct about all the water rides being packed during summer, that also one od the main reasons pirate land seems so empty, but also because you visited outside of school childrens holidays
I was there in 1986 and there was only miniland and the icons from around the world though Sydney Opera house wasn't there then so I am happy to see it added. As an Aussie I was so amazed by the fact that the park is covered in snow in Winter and then the Lego is hosed off in Spring and as good as new. It's a great advertisement for the longevity of Lego and the gardening skills of the park gardeners. I am off to get out my legoland park souvenir booklet and compare what is still there from 1986. Did you see Hans Christian Andersen? (In Lego)
You should come to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort in the UK next, it’s awesome! Also, I love your videos - keep up the amazing work!
Pretty neat, been watching your videos over the last couple of years. Live 60 kilometers away from Billund and been to the park 10 times at least. Its sorta weird to see you this close to my home :D
Was interesting to watch! The park looks great! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Hope you had much fun there! Enjoy your week!
So different than the New York park...very cool to see.
Jordan, you’ve made my day! The nostalgia hit me as soon as I saw the Duplo Danish flags. So many fond memories from my childhood. The boat ride was one of my favs. I think the builds were safari animals in the early 90s. Thanks so much for sharing ❤️🥹
Loved the video! Thanks for sharing this. Billund is definitely on the short list of vacations
I was there 34 years ago and some of the things are still there from my trip. Beautiful place and in all my travels the most wonderful people I've ever encountered.
Good tour video, looks like a good time to visit with no queues in sight.
I agree Denmark is not a cheap place to go but that’s the same for all the Scandinavian countries.
Loving your work Jordan,
Have a great time.😊
This is a very entertaining tour video. Really enjoying it.
You did a wonderful job.
By the way, a ticket for one day LEGOLAND costs 499 DKK, and a season pass costs only 629/799 DKK. If you intend to visit LEGOLAND multiple times, it's cheaper to buy the season pass.
Thanks so much for sharing this experience with us--especially those of us who will probably never have a chance to visit in person. It looks fabulous!!
Actually I think the folks talking in the background at beginning were Italians 😅
I’ve been in Billund last year, I didn’t visit Legoland, but I had a blast at the LEGO House, there should be a new set of awesome MOCs at the masterpiece gallery
Amazing
Hey, welcome to Denmark! Good to have you here 🇩🇰
Also, really interesting to see all of these things I've seen numerous times through your eyes like this. Glad you had a good time!
Had fun watching, thanks!Visiting the park with you would’ve been hilarious
I loved the mosaic outside the haunted house. I especially liked the little toadstools and tombstones. I felt like I was wandering around mini land with you. Thanks for a fab vlog. Hope you're having a fab time. Oh, and yes; it is very expensive to buy alcoholic drinks in Denmark 🇩🇰
looks amazing - we are going to try to hit the one in New York next year
Its so fun to watch this brings bake memories from last summer love your videos
Looks fantastic. I would have to buy a sword and shield and the skull mugs ha ha oh yeah 🙂
That was a nice tour of the park, and the sun even came out for you.
5:44 The tune that starts playing is a main theme from Danish crime comedy ,,Olsen's gang" (,,Olsen-banden" in Danish). You can see the three main characters in the bottom right corner next to the black car.
I was there back in 08! A few things still the same, which is cool to see. Mini land, dragon coaster and Rushmore I remember. Good to see new stuff as well
Emmet’s flying adventure is the best ride and you can’t change my mind
The Dragon.
It's the ultimate Castle experience.
@@Orixil I’m not gonna say no, I didn’t go on that one
Thank you for the nice video🤩🤩🤩
Hello. Your tour was quite entertaining. You have the passion and positive attitude as well ! I went there as a young kid with my dad back in 1995.
The entrance has changed since I went there with the Cub Scouts from the UK many years ago the original entrance had a soldiers' band on the top. When I went there was a fabuland area at the time.
that’s a trip of the dream of mine (and to many). Thanks for showing us around Bricksie!
awesome video jordan lego land looks amazing
LEGOLAND is awesome :D
This is incredible!
Hat was cool to see
I love your vids
I soul that guy waving at the corner of my eye😂
Theme Park Ducks!
30:17 The bus is probably controlled by a Strong Magnet!
Legoland New York is the closest to me, it would take about four hours to drive there! I hear they could use a lot more landscaping there.
Thank You for showing us around this Legoland!
The upbeat tune at 5:45 and the three guys by the black car, refers to a popular Danish movie franchise called Olsen Banden (The Olsen Gang), about a tight knit group of petty criminals who repeatedly try to pull off massively ambitious heists and get caught, over and over.
I've stayed in the Legoland hotel in Windsor, UK, and it was a fantastic experience! You also got to experience the park before it opened, cutting queuing times massively!
Thank you bricksie appreciate it ,ill never get to visit it
I have a distinct memory of going on the castle ride the last time I was there (2013 or so) thinking it was a tour of the castle, and immediately regretting it when I realized it was a full on roller coaster. I’ve never been a fan of roller coasters, and I legitimately wanted to jump out of the cart while the cart went over the treetops.
I survived though!😂 and the positive memories definitely outweigh the negative one, I was also able to buy the (then) recently retired Piratesof The Caribbean “the mill” set
My father is from Denmark so I’ve been to Lego land tons and can honestly say it has not changed in the last five years that I haven’t been there for but I do also one day plan to check out the Lego land hotel also
The airport looks great 👍👍🎉
It was really cool!
Hey hope you are enjoying your time here in Denmark
Ty for comein to Denmark im from Denmark and the shops is lego shops Go to Denmark if you love lego and the Citys welcome to denmark❤❤❤❤❤❤🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
The Uk Legoland has flight of the sky lion and it is AWESOME!!!!
You should stop off in the uk before you go fly back!👍
ive been there like 150 times love the place and u
Way to go, Jordan🎉
Sooooooooooooo coooooooooool I wish I was there!!!
You should bring your family another time, Jordan 😊
I drove there from Norway this summer
You should check out Legoland Deutschland (Germany) + Windsor (UK) for comparisons.
Florida is the largest, so naturally will be the most spread out, and Billund is the first ever one, so again, things would be out-dated.
Thanks for this! I went to Legoland Florida and was surprised and disappointed that there wasn't a mini city made with actual Lego like yours, except on an even grander scale. Their miniature world is cool, but it's not Lego brick sized and it's weathered as it's outdoors. They should have a museum of epic builds like an area of all their modulars, all their Winter Village sets, and a Star Wars world build of their sets, etc.
That statue of liberty has the correct face on it
Great stuff, you should give them some pointers on building trees and mountains :) Love all the scaled vegetation. Could you name any of the ninjas?
Nice place
Thanks for the great tour of Billund. Are you going to make a Lego theme park in your city?
13:40 the giant dog head is actually an auditorium type room where, in the movie, Emmet first met with all the master builders.
I can see I need to go to Billund. It's been years, and it's easy from Copenhagen 😂
I was there as well on a monday in September 😱 didn’t catch you however 😢
Jordan keeps saying "danish" which is making me hungry😀
Miniland is definitely the best part of every legoland, especially the famous towers, and the Lego house, and in general looks amazing
This isn't plastic, its Lego - Bricksie 😅
If you watched Ninjago, you would appreciate the area in Legoland much more
Cool that there's a switch area
I wonder how similar the drop ride is to the haunted house set
I wonder what tracks those bigger scale trains use 🤔
Awesome vlog, very cool to see Legoland Billund
I changed my profile picture using LEGO's play is your superpower minifigure customizer to make my (virtual) SigFig
fun facts:at 4:00 to 4:32 you are looking at the model of the oldest harbor in Copenhagen called Newport (in Danish Nyhavn) and the building called Nyhavn 17 is to this day a bar then at 7:06 to 7:10/11 you are watching the model of the Danish royal family main home called Amaliencastle (in danish Amalienborg) and at 24:13 to 24:15 you are looking at the Crown prince and prinsess of Denmarks summer home called Peacecastle (in Danish Fredensborg)
letsgo!
Next visit the new Legoland in Goshen NY
The colorful buildings are from a place in Copenhagen "Koe-ben-hav-n" called Nyhavn meaning New Harbour 😊
If you ever get a chance, could you ask the Lego group why they chose a large scale mini-fig for their Mini Lands?
At 19:20 I did get to stay in one of those rooms with the green windows. It is indeed a great view to wake up and see the park out side the window
WOW! That's really cool that you got to go there. My favorite part was Mini Land. I'm curious to know if everything in Mini Land was made using the tiny bricks or just normal-sized pieces. It was hard to tell in the video.
Normal pieces
I'm curious did they still have a fire boat in miniland? In the 70s and 80s they had a boat that would catch on fire and another would pull up beside it and put the fire out.
06:17 You're being watched by those small bushes 👀
Its humens over year after year to do all that
9:18 Jordan Bilius Weasley😂
Is everything built with Legos or are the insides of the structures (such as the taj mahal) something else?
Did you know :
The Danish flag is the oldest national flag of the world (though obviously there are a lot of local flag banners much older than this). Denmark is also the oldest Kingdom in Europe.
Denmark is renowned for being expensive especially beer considering probably the best Lager in the worlds home is Copenhagen you can see why they sell lots elsewhere
Alcohol is very cheap in Denmark compared to in Norway
Is there no factory shop in legoland were you can buy Lego in bulk and pay per weight like we do here in germany?
🎉
5:17 an italian that says “There’s no map at the entrance though” 😜
Awsome day 2 vlog thanks for sharing your experience of Denmark
