I drove a city bus in Seattle during the 1970s-1980s. I ate there countless times. I remember Barbara so well. I went there more than once a week and always ordered a "Golden Brown Waffle" topped with peanut butter, bananas, and maple syrup. Barbara told me always ask for a HOT PLATE. They had a stack of plates being heated to accommodate such requests. Their coffee was the best, and yes, it was like coming home. Then I moved out of the area. This video brings me tears of nostalgia of better days and kinder times... ❤❤❤
I am homebound now. How I would love to have one of those waffles. And coffee. 😋😋😋 On a hot plate!
