My Grandmother died from Metastatic Breast Cancer. She had her first breast removed at 35, her second Cancer was found when she was in her 70's and it had spread throughout her body to her Colon, Kidney. It is SO important to keep up on your health screenings! Thank you for doing this vlog!
I’ve texted you before letting you know how much you and your husband have cheered me up through my chemo radiation and now I’m cancer free my breast cancer was detected through a routine mammogram and I highly respect and honor you for doing this RUclips video on such a difficult topic but it needs to be addressed and you’re doing such a good job on your channel I just love you guys have a wonderful memorial day weekend. Love Cherri
Back in 2002 my daughter-in-law kept bugging me to get my mammogram. I finally made the appointment to shut her up about it. You know what......breast cancer was found. My daughter-in-law saved my life! It was caught early and I am still here 19 years later. I was a lucky one. Get your mammo!!
Hearing your voice quiver when you mentioned Sonya pulled at my heartstrings. No better way to honor her legacy than to keep yourself checked and healthy! Sending lots of love!
Jennifer, your flowers are beautiful ! I always think it is so sweet when you and Chad have Linda with you so precious! Mammograms are so❤😊🌻🌺 important !!
In Australia we have free breast screening for woman over 50. Every 2 years I get a reminder email to contact them for an appointment. I just had mine done too. I also just had my regular colonoscopy and gastroscopy. I have been having them every 5 years but they always remove a few polyps so the doctor said I should have them every 3 years now, I am 64. It is so important to take good care of ourselves especially as we get older. My sister is currently battling lung cancer and I have been diagnosed with emphysema. I have had heart disease for several years so my doctor keeps on top of my health checks. Thank you for encouraging others to take care of themselves too. I always love your vlogs and your garden always looks beautiful.
Good for you Jennifer. So important. My mammogram saved my life three years ago. I had a mastectomy and have been cancer free for two years. Everyone, do not delay.
I do have my mammogram every year in October. It’s my birthday gift to myself. Early detection is the the only cure. My hospital now has new johnnies that are designed to be open in the front and much more comfortable. Good job Jennifer.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 45. I had a lumpectomy, chemo, and radiation. Cancer free since 2001. None of my four siblings have been diagnosed with cancer.
My mother always called this a “boob vice.” She wondered if testicular cancer were checked this way, they would have created something different for ladies years ago.
You need a mammogram every year. Every five years is like playing with fire. My mom was a two time breast cancer survivor. Sadly she passed away last week, but not from breast cancer. Just old age and dementia. I was always very diligent about my yearly mammograms, but after my mom’s two breast cancer diagnoses, I am even more so. My mom also had the Barca 2 gene mutation so, of course, my sister and I got tested. I was negative, but my sister was positive. Because of that, my sister had a prophylactic mastectomy and had her ovaries removed. One of her daughters also has the mutation. Needless to say - my family doesn’t mess around when it comes to breast cancer. Ladies - get your mammograms EVERY year - not every five years.
I’m 62 and I have skipped a couple of years. I’m pretty healthy and take pretty good care of myself. Well, they just found breast cancer(early!)that is called DCIS. I am now a huge proponent for everyone a little older to get this done yearly...they never would have found this if I hadn’t gone ahead and gotten it done. I had been dragging my feet. I’m so glad since she said this particular type is found in women over 55 and is very treatable if found early like mine. Glad you had it done!
It was fun seeing Linda! Glad she enjoys the fun things in life such as pizza and ice cream! Your flowers are beautiful! I've been getting mammograms yearly since I turned 40.
I had my first mammogram ever a few months ago, it was quick as well. Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous, I so love pretty flowers in the yard and patio. 🥰
In Australia mammograms are every 2 years, but the girls get squashed every year as I have had lumps removed in the past and have to be checked more now. I support Breast Cancer Awareness now and advocate for all woman to get checked regularly.
My Mum calls her girls 'Ethel and Maud' 🤭 Aw so lovely to see Aunt Linda again, I'm with her, going out to eat is one of my favourite things too!! Your flowers look so pretty, I think yellow is a perfect colour to raise our spirits after the year we have all had.
I’m 29 from the Uk and recently found a lump and have a mammogram coming up on Friday. I’m super nervous. Your video has made me feel more at ease, just praying it’s nothing.
Thank you for the reminder about having a mammogram! I am overdue! Your flowers are beautiful! It just brightens your day! Always look forward to seeing you and Chad!
I'm so glad you are taking care of all of your screenings. I had my mammogram and colonoscopy in April. My Mom had cancer in 5 different areas of her body over a 20 year period, I never skip my check-ups. Your flowers and patio look beautiful! So glad Linda enjoyed her pizza and ice cream!
Oh! It was a surprise that Aunt Linda is in the vlog again. So happy to see her happy. Stay healthy and God bless you. Thank you for vlogging this Grandma and Grandpa Griffiths!🥰
Just came to the part of the Vid that has your Yellow Purse in it!! I friggin love that purse. Went to a Kate Spade outlet this past weekend, and didnt find a Yellow like that, but found a green in almost the exact style. I love it. Found a yellow in a smaller style, and I bought it the next day ❤🇺🇸
I need to start getting all these things looked at. I am almost 40 and have a huge list of cancers in my family. Thanks for sharing your story because I know it will help a lot of people go get themselves checked.
Please, please, please don’t wait five years to get your mammogram done! I waited two years to have mine and they found cancer that was very aggressive. If I had found it a year earlier it would have been easy to treat. Instead, I had six surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. If I had waited five years I would have been dead. I was only 44 and in very good health and had no symptoms. Now I preach to anyone who’ll listen to get their mammograms done every year!
My Mom died of breast cancer in 2015 when I was 38. So I go every year. My father couldn’t live without her and died 2017 of lung cancer. Early detection is key to a long life.
Its so wonderful to see you promoting mammograms. I had stage 3 breast cancer at 28 years old, i had a double mastectomy and Im now 39 and healthy thank goodness. It's so important to look after ourselves. I had a reconstruction and i call my newbie boobies Bobbi and Betsy. Stay safe beautiful lady xx
I would like to add some advice for the guys: Have your PSA screened yearly. My husband let five years go by since his last exam and he's now doing battle with stage 4 prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is quite curable if caught early. I kick myself for not having pressured him more about getting checked.
My mother In Law was diagnosed with BC about 30 years ago - breast removed and no other problems with that. My mother was diagnosed 10 1/2 years ago - breast removed and reconstructed a few years later. Just finished medication roughly 6 months ago and has had no further problems. They both regularly get checked. I have regularly get checked as well and I am clear as of last check. My daughter has unfortunately got both families with BC so will have to get checked! She is nearly 21 so will have to get her into routine.
@Grandma and Grandpa Griffiths I think I have a while until I need one as Im only 38, but Im definitely asking my doctor when I should get it. Was so nice to see aunt Linda in the vlog.😎💓💓💓 your flowers are absolutely gorgeous.💓💓💓😎 have a blessed day guys.
Yes, that’s my birthday present every year to myself in Aug easy to remember too. I’ve just always called them the “Girls”...lol Aunt Linda seemed more chipper than she was for her birthday.🥰
I get a letter through the post to get checked every two yrs in Switzerland…luckily so far so good ! GoodMorning, Jennifer, I don’t take the time too get a mammogram every year either. I just about lost it when you said your sister in law calls them treats. It was funny but it’s what she likes and that’s alright too. I don’t have a name for mine. I probable should at my age because they surely aren’t the same anymore. 😆 It was such a beautiful treat too see aunt Linda. What a sweetheart she is indeed. And your flowers were just so beautiful too. I loved the purple the best. On Saturday my husband and I went shopping and I got myself a yellow shirt. When I saw it I right away said it made me feel happy. Such a cheerful color. Have a great day. Enjoy your amazing flowers.
Your spring flowers are lovely, Jennifer! And that pizza looked delicious. Thanks for the reminder about an annual mammo. Better to be safe than sorry. Hello to sweet Linda.

My mom is a great cancer survivor and sadly her sister passed away from it. There is breast cancer on my dads side of the family too! Every six months, I alternate between a mammogram, an MRI, and an ultrasound to make sure I have the best chance of detection.
Good for you! I get an annual mammogram because I was diagnosed 2 years ago with Stage 1 ductile cancer. I had surgery, reconstruction, and chemo followed by a second tweeting by the plastic surgeon. Wow Cynthia, that’s what mine is DCIS. My surgery is scheduled for June 25 and radiation afterwards. I feel really blessed they caught mine early too! Thanks for the encouraging post!
Yes Kathey I agree although I attempted the double reconstruction but it failed on one side so I told the doctor I can live without them otherwise would have to go through that whole process again. The prosthetics are great and light weight and if I don't feel like wearing them I just go free. Lol
It is the Boob masher!! And I had a lump... so finally had the mammogram... it was calcified material on a marker from a previous surgery to remove a cyst!! What a relief! Blessings all!
I have one every March . I have a 3D image now. I have had several colonoscopy Jennifer. Cleared for 10 yrs then went back after 18 month had surgery stage 4. Had several surgeries till this year now clear for 3 years . Never to old Jennifer to start. MS is breaking down my body had it 51/2 years. God bless your family. Thank you for sharing your video.🙏🙏🙏

Your beautiful Aunt Linda is as lovely as my Auntie Barb 💕
God bless you for your love & kindness to her.
I like how you call them your girls. Lol. It’s smart so you don’t have to say what they actually are. Love you guys so much. Stay safe and healthy.
I love aunt Linda! What an absolute sweetheart ❤️
My weakness is also plants! I look at them every where we go. Aunt Linda is so cute.
Love your garden,I go to my doctor every year mammograms are so important to us ladies.Take care all.
Your patio looks great!🌺
I just love how tender you all are with Aunt Linda, she is sure a cherished member of your family, you’re all very lucky to have her.
Since I have dense breast tissue, which makes it difficult to see cancer, I’m 66, have them every year with an ultrasound to❣️
It was fun seeing Linda! Glad she enjoys the fun things in life such as pizza and ice cream! Your flowers are beautiful! I've been getting mammograms yearly since I turned 40.

That's hilarious!😂

Good that you are being a good example for others who neglect their regular mammograms.
Yes, Thanks. Blessings
In my country you get invited every two years from when your 50 to 75 to get 'the girls' checked. I am 38 and had one done this year, because I found something that was not there before. It turned out to be nothing bad thank goodness, but please ladies don't wait until it is to late. Check them yourself regulairly, because then you will know when something is wrong and catch it early.
Age 50 is not early enough. Age 40 is much safer. You were wise to go at age 38.

I just picked up some geraniums and petunias. I have this one great big pot that I don't know what to put in it. I want it on my front patio and it has western exposure. I call them my twins. Every time a piece of food lands on my shirt in the area I say I’m feeding my twins. 😂
Good to see you on tv aunt Linda.

I’m sorry about your aunt. I’m glad you are staying on top of things the best you can.
Lots of love from Grandma and great grandma Shez here in Australia 🇦🇺 Loves to Aunt Linda.🥰🥰
