Akhirnya, ini lah perbualan yang orang Malaysia sekarang perlukan.
I m suprised , for first time i see a sensible muslim .
Malaysia will prosper with this kind of person heading JAKIM
JAKIM needs to be de-funded !
Jakim is just another political tool
I totally agree.
you must be non muslim
JAKIM needs to be dissolved entirely.
Awesome. I am a Singapore born Muslim, educated in an Anglican School for 12 years and have multiple degrees and live in the West- I appreciate your open minded dialogue. Islam is a progressive religion and we should have an educated worldview that strengthens the practice of Islam. I recall being told as a child that the Prophet PBUH saying that we should seek knowledge. 😊
Thank you Harith and Prof. Tajuddin. This video should be an eye opener to all Malaysians.
Thanks Harith for having the fortitude and courage to invite the guest speaker. Much appreciation also to the speaker , Prof Tajuddin, for insights and taking a bold stand in speaking up. I have learnt alot.
It's all about educating yourself

Thank you Harith for having Prof Tajuddin on your show. Thank you.
Lets get "sesat" moving

My salute to Prof Tajuddin for his unwavering courage to speaking up, addressing the elephant in the room. Not many intellectual Malays dare to speak about the pressing sensitive issues we face in Malaysia, not even Keluar Sekejap, you can tell that KJ is trying to preserve his “political brand” and waiting for the right moment to jump back in the lever of power. Well done Harith. Looking forward for Sesat…
You are exactly right
I am a Singaporean and non Muslim, and I really enjoyed the way how Prof Tajuddin breaks down the different narratives and his thought process. A really enjoyable and engaging show, and something that everyone should listen and hopefully gain something from. Cheers.
A speaker has a strong science background, honest, brave, not greedy and reads a lot. Great person.
Another ignoramus on Islam lies and deception. Congratulations
Another ignoramus on Islam lies and deception. Congratulations!

Great explaination Proff.... We ' ll always behind you to fight racist, radical extremist exspecially from opportunist politicians and preacher....
The antithesis of "kafir" is "pariah." Pariahs are individuals who consume pork and/or beef. Another muslim name in india is Pariah.
If Malaysia would have more people thinking the way you think Prof., we need more people like you in Malaysia.
he said it oredi, malay community can only be change by the religious scholars and ustaz.
!! The facts no One can denied.

Malaysia need more Muslim that talks about sensitive issues because when non Muslim talks about it, it will became a sensitive issue. So thank you Prof and Harith for doing this.
One of the best discussion I've ever watch!!!! Please continue for another 10...20 episode
Subhanallah. Professor Tajudin telah membuat saya berfikir diluar kotak. He is a true Muslim
Jangan taksub atas nama professor
MashaAllah awak rasa begitu.? Kotak apa?

It nice to see two intelligent people have a good conversation give us more
@perabagap9121 two intelligent people can get together and STILL get it wrong. A good conversation between two people does not equal accepted correct viewpoint
Professor, you are the right person to be The Education Minister.
A Malaysian Malay Muslim here, who has just returned home less than a year ago. I was shocked at the state of less than progressive perspectives, views, ideology dare I say it is even more backwards now than my time when I was growing up.
This conversation is much much needed! Thank you both Harith and Prof for your courage to talk about this openly, your openness, healthy educated insights, be the voices of common sense- I do truly hope this session has opened up some people's minds, mentality, perspective. #1mindatatime.
Impressed with the profundity of his thought, unfortunately only few men with wisdom and compassion could resonate with Prof Tajuddin. Such a kind and beautiful man. Thank you for offering your thoughts sir
BRING BACK THE PROFESSOR AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN. WE LACK INTELLIGENT PEOPLE LIKE HIM. IT IS INSPIRING LISTENING TO HIM. MALAYSIA HAS HOPE IF THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE LIKE HIM. THANK YOU EN HARITH ISKANDAR.
Yes, kindly invite Prof for another session. His wisdom on our current issues is truly spot on. I watched all his you tube videos ever since I discovered his channel. Thank you Prof for being our “unspoken voice and thoughts”.
Kudos to Harith and prof.... thinking true Malaysians
Yes. The topic of sesat is welcomed. Thanks for the conversation and really hope we could more of this 'out of the box' Malaysians, be it Malays, Chinese, Indians and etc- we are all living in the same planet and country.
Thank you. Learnt something valueable through this discussion. Pls have professor back.
IKEA was accused of serving non Halal food, shut down cafe for investigation, and found to be not true. Damage done ...
Fitnah is murder... but those hypocrites do not mind
Jakim has weaponised " halal " certification. They can easily shut a food factory by just accusing it of violating halal processes. When asked for evidence, after several months, there was none. Tens of millions lost just because of hearsays. In the end, non muslim halal factories had to hire malay chairman just to handle this issue.
Puppet or sleep partner. It happens every non Muslim prospering business.
Sadly true. Malaysia needs to urgently remove Islam from the state. Put an end to Islamic institutions and Islam's clerics in affairs of the state.

Thank you, this is enlightening for a non-muslim like me. Prof Tajuddin is both insightful and concise, and spot-on on the topic.
Great discussion and an enlightening one for Non-Muslims. To know that level-headed people who openly discuss what's obviously wrong with the portrayals of Islam and Muslims by zealots is indeed eye-opening. Definitely needs to be in the mainstream media than just potcasts in RUclips. Looking forward to watching and listening to more from both.

My highest respect to Prof. Tajuddin. I appreciate the perbincangan yang cukup mendalam.
One point that i am so agree to Prof is about ustaz. Selalu kalau ada orang kata dia mengkaji islam dengan mendalamnya, my impression is, hmmm orang nie maybe sangat aggressive, they cant tolerate other religion beside their own, they see every other human are dirty. Professor Tajudin is a true Muslim, it's no doubt that God loves him & Heavan is reserved for him.
It is because he always biased to your favour. By your name I do not think you are a Muslim, correct me if wrong, so to you he is true Muslim. As simple as this, his perspective of Islam is within your understanding of Islam. So other Muslims way of thinking which doesn't suit to your whims is considered as extremist ? So please join this Tajudin's sect. of Islam.
@@user-jb9bj4rg2yBut you're biased too. And by saying "this Tajuddin sect" you think you're the terpaling Muslim?
how do you know if god loves him? That is something that god knows. The people who commonly say things like that are Christians.
Anyways, his logic is flawed. by his logic, its not considered rude to put your feet on top of your parents head or dining table or religious scriptures or a flag of a country.
The guy also conveniently forgot the hadith about a companion wanting to let Rasullulah (ﷺ) to sleep upstairs because he doesn't want his feet to be higher than the Prophet (ﷺ) head
True human lah no need to bring religion.

Bang…isu hina islam hina Allah swt bukan isu baru start tahun ni bang…banyak kali agama islam ni dihina dicabar…pastu sampai bila kita nak memaafkan je…sekali kita memaafkan berulang kali lagi la agama kita dihina…orang akan nampak org islam ni lemah…sapa lagi nak pertahankan bang kalau bukan kita orang islam…macam mana kita nak menjawab nnti kat sana…betul islam suruh kita memaafkan seseorang…tapi islam
bukan suruh kita jadi lemah bang…kita je yang menurut kita je yang mengalah…sampai bila bang…zaman sahabat jihad sampai syahid nak sebarkan islam…sampai kita takkan nak biarkan duduk diam islam dihina diperlekehkan…terpulang kalau rasa diri tu nak diam dan memaafkan…tapi jangan buat persepsi negatif pada yang punya tanggungjawab untuk pertahankan islam.

I’m very happy to get to know prof here. Never imagined that Harith & Prof discussion was really intriguing.
I’m very pleased that the RUclips pop up this video to me as suggestion. Great contents & had learnt much from Prof.
I have many Malay friends back then & now. But now I can feel intolerance in our society when we face issues of Religion nationwide in social media.
I feel that I need to be more careful when approaching & friendly interaction with my fellow citizens if they are Malay, after reading extreme comments from social media. But in person, all the individuals especially Malays were still very friendly when approached where I lived in heavily Malays populated region in Selangor.
What is been projecting in social media by those extreme post, statements & comments is still considerably not representing the whole nation’s real voice.
We are still not rotten as a whole nation yet many still thinking rationally while living in our multicultural & multi religious nation. Hope politicians stop politicizing all fairly ignorable & forgivable issues into massive issues just to gain profit and to secure their personal interest.
We must unite & stand as Malaysians to compete in international arena to shine but not to fight within our own fellow Malaysians and become vulnerable.
Stay prudent.

Alhamdulillah. Tqso much Harith for invinting prof tajuddin for sharing his thought about msian. Selama ni sy mmg follow Prof tajuddin, he is a rare malay muslim and has great wisdom. Sayangnya majoriti melayu tidak seperti beliau. Saya sendiri bukan lah melayu ttapi orang Asli yg memeluk agama islam.

In Arabic, the root word "k-f-r" has a broader meaning of covering, concealing, or hiding. When applied in Islamic terminology, "kafir" refers to someone who denies or conceals the truth of Islam. So, one could argue that it's used for those who reject or hide the teachings of the Quran, including Muslims who may do so.
Actually it means a farmer - someone who covers a seed.
Consider this, my friend :
A father left many nice drinks in the fridge, told his son to serve to whoever comes to the house as a guest.
One of the family friends came and the son did not serve him the drinks. When the father came back, he found out. The son, when questioned, answered thus:
1. The guest rejected the drinks.,
2. He refused to serve the drinks because of many personal reasons.
You cannot simply called someone KAFIR before you presented to him the truth. If you did that but he rejected, that too depends on what you presented to him.
By your interpretation of KAFIR as concealing the truth, then before the nons are put to hell the Muslims who did not preach the truth would go in first.
Wallahu A'lam.
@@HexxaLi-go8xz can a non muslim which do not know about the Quran hide the truth of the quran
@@amyssb1 of course not. It's the duty of those who knows to preach what he knows. All prophets did that. The goal of Islam is to be a Muslim in this world, and in the hereafter it's entirely up to the Creator. But the Muslims now unashamedly called themselves Muslims before they even practiced the teachings. By analogy it's like calling oneself an engineer before he even started to study the courses let alone passing the exams, and with the new found identity he started to differentiate himself as the believer while labelling others as kafir.
Let's put it this way, the Quran consists of six thousand odd ayat and it's existed almost one thousand four hundred years. It was meant for the so-called 'akhir zaman' and suitable even for the illiterate bedouins in the arabian desert. So the meanings might be deep but the teachings are meant to be general. For the religion it's entirely up to the devotees to show the meanings of the religion through their practices.
Don't get me wrong, I am entirely agree with what you said but just want to put in some of my thoughts. Salaam.
@@HexxaLi-go8xz This verse emphasizes the responsibility of believers to promote righteousness and guide others towards the truth.
1. Surah Al-Imran (3:110): "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah."
2. Surah An-Nahl (16:125): "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided."
3. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:256): "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing."
4. Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:4): "There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, 'Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone.'"
These verses, among others, emphasize the importance of conveying the message of Islam to others with wisdom, kindness, and patience, while also respecting their free will and choices.
But there are verses that emphasize that ultimately, it is Allah who decides who will believe and who will not. One such verse is in
Surah Al-Qasas (28:56): "Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided." This verse highlights that guidance ultimately comes from Allah, and humans, including the Prophet Muhammad, cannot control whom Allah guides to belief.
While we can strive to convey the truth to disbelievers, it is ultimately Allah who decides who will be guided. Our duty to Allah is fulfilled by making the effort to convey the message, but the outcome of guidance rests solely with Him.
An example of a true religious scholar, well done Harith❤

It was a great discussion! I'm Malaysian Chinese, and I feel that Islam is a profound religion. However, it appears that in Malaysia, politicians often exploit the religion to boost their popularity, and our education system is unfortunately regressing. Despite these challenges, I believe Malaysia has the potential to become an economic powerhouse in Southeast Asia, similar to Saudi Arabia, if we stand united and embrace the modern world.
From Sarawak. Very good information from professor tajudin & HI👍🏻
