I remember watching it when I was around 10 maybe younger and I was a casualty fan right up until this particular cast began to dismantle. It just hasn't been the same since and Its sad
this was the best ever casualty story line by the best ever character played by the fantastic georgia taylor, however i think she should have died as it would have given the story more poignancy. i no longer watch casualty, just like i won't watch holby when rosie marcel's character, jac naylor goes. i think both actresses would be brilliant if they starred in a remake of the brilliantly dark 1947 film, 'black narcissus', which starred kathleen byron & deborah kerr. ps, don't watch it alone.
+charliefarley1000 Marilyn Fox is such a bitch. Especially for firing Simon McCorkindale's day on the truth behind Ruth's suicide attempt. She really does not care.

Talk to someone darling. A stranger, a friend, brother or sister ... no matter what you tell yourself, someone out there will listen and does care. Don't suffer in silence. It took me way too long to get myself help ... even if you want to vent to me on here go ahead. Just don't bottle up whatever it is you're worrying about and whatever it is that gets you down. So many people make you feel like your problems are minute and unworthy ... not true. Every problem is worth talking about if it worries you
Steve Key No she was suffering from bipolar disorder, which you're born with but is usually triggered by a traumatic event in adolescence (in Ruth's case finding her mother's body after she committed suicide).
Still gets me all these years later. What a great episode. Makes it all the sadder with Simon in it 😪
She is a bloody good actress, in everything that she played in, she knew her parts well and played them well...
+Amanda Edwards The episode with Matthew Kelly was one of Georgia Taylor's best performances.

+Daniel Williamson amazing - as good as Lacey turner in EastEnders
Lacey Turner is good in Eastenders. Jean Slater is mad.
