This game has such potential to absoutely cook, i can already see a streets of rage style single player / co op mode and the online 2v2 sounds like the sort of fun i need right now. I cant wait! Keep cooking

I don't need hype, i want to know how to play this friggin game! I played around 3 to 4 hours of the beta and every match has been a huge clusterfuck of fishing for stray hits into skullgirls-esque wombo combos and man, that chaos was not fun. It felt like the lane system and even the co-op added nothing to the fighting game recipe. It feels like there are systems at play here that allow for strategic play, but without a well made guy up front most people will drop off before the game clicks with them.
Don't be stupid, this game has crazy potential to be a killer fighting game, but also to alienate players early on. I petition a video of the game designers to explain their vision of this combat system!

How does the game play? I mean is it more like streets of rage or is it rather like street fighter?
Based on what I've played, I'd say it plays more like Guardian Heroes, or Code of Princess.
