Staedtler is a great high quality brand for writing and drawing instruments was my favorite brand before I became a crazy fan of PF inks. I just gave mi writing set to my mother who came back to seniors university. I really like the engineering behind their products I never saw a FP of this brand but should be great i have to have one.
Great review. I have lot of respect for Staedler and Rotring for the durablity of their products. They may not be the most inexpensive products, but offer a perfect durability and strength. I have used mechanical pencils of both these brands in my engineering college days. Those pencils are still working well and are best for precision drawing. This pen reminds me of those fantastic pencils. Lovely product! Nice review :)
Do you know anything about the history of the brand and their logo? My history is far from expert, but if I remember correctly the Roman Empire did not get along very well with Gaul which I believe (If memory serves) is present day Germany, and this is a German pen brand. Even all of these things are correct, I know that they provide very little reason for any present day German to hate what was once the Roman Empire, but it's interesting to think about.
hahahaha....What does it matter...and NAPOLEON BONAPARTA wanted to conquer the world....and still eat french cheese and drink their wine--- Mainly in USA driven BMW,Mercedes-Benz but you do not mind.A country(USA) that was formed less than 300 years is not competent to comment on anything about the history......

I think the Staedtler fountain pens are new.

November 31st? Is the great man using a different calendar to the rest of us mere mortals? ✒️👍🖌
Having to put on a german, japanese and french accent right at the start of your writing sample, whew!
Dang! Who is typing on the mechanical keyboard at a very impressive speed during the writing sample?
Make a house tour video =)

Which is better STAEDTLER RESINA OR FABER CASTELL AMBITION?

Hello sir, love your videos. At what age did you start your hobby of collecting fountain pens? It would be great to know as I'm new to this. Thanks!
I don’t like that clip / cap either, totally agree with you. Good review, cheers.
The logo is the god MARS. Staedtler also has pencils branded with that name. "'Staedtler Mars"
The best eraser I have is a Staedtler, and I like how you pronounce it Stephen, haha Americans pronounce it "stayd-t-ler" haha
Staedtler makes my favorite mechanical pencils. Looking forward to seeing more fountain pen designs from them.
Is it the left hand for the engagement? :)
Dear Dr. Brown, I counted on your website that you have reviewed around 317 pens. Do you think you will run out of pens to review soon?
I don't think so.
What is that little marble in the converter for ?
It's a ball agitator to break the ink's surface tension.

Gaul was mainly France and included bits of other countries (e.g. The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, and a strip of Germany)
