Hi Guys we enjoyed the Altitude deck it is great. The covered pool area is a no go area for sure and who would swim in those hot pools the water felt greasy. The pool out the back was great for a cool dip and it was a uncluttered eg kids Over all a very enjoyable cruise
I love your videos Thank you for sharing and letting us know all the sweet secrets Oh and yes I always do that with the OBC ... When we get any that is... Jenny from Sydney
You made me laugh when you mentioned the nightclub on the back of the ship if it gave the ship any aerodynamics or not and that what I did last time I used my bonus onboard first before I loaded any of my own money on
Hi we use the machine on board to transfer money from our account to the ship when our balance is low. We dont link a card. I cant be sure but I would imagine that your onboard credit would be used first if using a debit/credit card. The debit/credit cards get swiped daily and we got charged a daily fee doing it this way. Each debit/credit may work differently so just check with the bank.
Thanks for the info! May I ask a question about the onboard credit? What happens if you link your card to your account? Do the credits get used first in that case?
Good question and my answer is they should. on our first P&O cruise we had our card linked and we immediately used our credits for a shore excursion before any other on board spend. Although we had a credit card linked we choose to transfer cash to our on board account once we have used all the given credits the cruise gives you. On one cruise they were charging the daily spend using our linked credit card daily and you end up paying quite considerable fees.. Transferring cash across in advance of any additional spending you intend to do outside of the cruise credits given helps to avoid the fees, particularly if you haven’t got a drinks package, drink coffee each day or do a bit of shopping on board or try a speciality restaurant. We now don’t transfer money until we use the credits first. I would heck with the services desk on your cruise as we have been in 3 different lines now and they seen to have their own process and change from time to time. Hope that has helped answer your question
@@CandidTourists We have linked our Debit card to the account and they have advised there are no fees charged when doing this. Yes we have drinks package. Ok we will wait and see what happens and report back, our Cruise is in May! Thanks again :)
I just got off this old tub Syd to cairns and it was dreadful. Hard to believe there was no fresh fruit & no weetbix sailing the Australian coastline. They were so tight there was no ice cream or cream without paying extra. The entertainment’s best offering was a talent quest final featuring other passengers. That’s just cheap and nasty. The tap water was over chlorinated due to the breakout of gastrointestinal diseases as well as a colds & flu. There was no hand sanitising or regular cleaning of public spaces (handrails etc) reinforcing public perception that cruise ships are a ‘Petri dish.’ P&O Adventure failed to provide entertainment, failed to provide food & water, and failed to keep us safe.
I'm glad that you posted this as I was just about to go and try to book on a 4 night cruise to take my daughter and grandson on....I've now been turned off. Also just watched another video and apparently the lifts constantly break down , which would not be good for me at all if I got stuck in one of them.
@@lindyhawthorne2164 it was built in 1991 and although it states “refurbished recently” that means a new propeller and a new life raft NOT what we imagine - like new bathrooms, carpets paint etc. It’s got the original shower curtain in the cabin! Refurbished also means they cut back on the pantry (buffet) to make room for additional restaurants that cost around $150 with no ice cream and no fresh fruit and no meat. Sailing out of sydney! That’s unbelievable and just cheap. Australians do themselves a disservice by accepting this standard. What happened to the 5 new P&O ships? Perhaps the parent company Carnival thinks those ships are too good for us and as long as we keep buying these cheap and nasty cruises they will keep dishing them up for us and give the luxury to others………
@@misterhunt2328 Thanks for that info. Im feeling a bit sad as this was the only available short cruise that I might have been able to get 2 cabins on. All the other lines are full already. Oh well.....no cruising for me this time. What do you mean "no meat" ? and apparently they charge you for extras in the so called complimentary eateries. ?
@@lindyhawthorne2164 imagine buying your groceries on a budget. What would you omit? Theres chicken, frozen fish and no meat. No fresh fruit & no weetbix. it’s unbelievable- they could just go to woolies!
It may appear affordable but don’t choose it on that basis alone. After the extras you will end up paying more so look elsewhere you will find something luxurious and memorable
Great song ❤ I'm on a boat is one of my favourite songs to listen to as I'm boarding 🙂
Love the style and informal narrative keep posting you are legends
Thanks so much ! Appreciate the comment and glad you like the videos 😁😁

You get a great view from up on that deck. I had to laugh about the "greasy" comment around the hot pools. Thats exactly how I describe it too 🤢😁

Always ahve to remember they crusielines are there to make money so begin a little aware of charges is a great thing. 😀
I read somewhere 3 shipsof this class have had this part of the ship removed
How can you use your credits first if you've linked your debit card?
