Absolutely love your bike. 900 is a little big for me. I'm an American in the Philippines and ride a CB110. Yup. 110cc. They're also called Honda CB twister. Keep up the videos. You're actually one of the few vloggers that seem to know (or at least talk about) the mechanical aspects of bikes. Big thumbs up from this side of the planet.
Brad Wilkerson Thanks for the words of encouragement! Doesn't matter if you ride a 50cc or an 1800cc that fact that your out and on motorized two wheels is a great thing!
Nice bike. Like the color too. I watched a few of your vids, and really enjoy your stuff man. Surprised you're only at 50 subs. You deserve more. Keep up the good work, I look forward to watching more of your stuff
i got this bike and absolutely love it, my only gripe is that high mount exhaust makes me and everything i have strapped to the seat stink after riding...im going to be converting it to low mount soon.
Hey man, love your channel. Lots of good info for someone in the market for a 919, such as myself. I wanted to ask you about the Corbin seat, just in general, was it a worthwhile investment as far as comfort and durability goes? I know you mention it briefly in the video, but two years later on do you still like the seat? Is it holding up well? I am slightly height challenged. I easily get the balls of both feet down on the ground with the stock seat, but I believe the Corbin seat adds about 0.75 of an inch in height. I am pretty sure I will be fine and not have to tip-toe it. Or would you say it adds more than 0.75 inches?
If I were you I would NOT get a Corbin seat. I could easily flat foot both feet when sitting on the stock seat. Once I got the Corbin I went to balls of my feet and I did not like that at all. If you're already on the balls of your feet I would say you would be forced to lean the bike one way or the other at stops, IMO that's not a safe thing to do.
Oh man, very good feedback. Thank you! I am not tip-toeing but I would not feel comfortable with a seat that is a full inch or more taller. It's already a little bit sketchy when I have to stop at a red light if the ground is uneven. I mean I'm not struggling to keep the bike upright, but add an inch or more of seat height and I think I might struggle. I think I'll pass on the Corbin seat then. Maybe I should look into Sargent instead. Need to email them and see if their seat is taller than stock, and if so, how much taller. I think I could possibly live with 0.5 to 0.75 inches taller without it getting too sketchy. Again, man, thank you for the warning!
@@Arill0 I am in Portland Oregon. Just registered it yesterday! I paid 1700. It is ridable, but I will need to put a new set of tires, a new chain and a sprocket as well. What do you think?
@@Arill0 I think I was just lucky. The dealer discovered couple of the forgotten with zero miles and put them for sale for 4 grands and that affected the pre-owned price of course

Try switching to a lower octane. 91 and above, I stunk; 89 and below I was good to go!

whoop whoop +1
Thanks for the video. What do you think a reasonable price for it now if it has 20K miles on it in a good shape otherwise?
Depends, are you in America or another country?

@@DrAlmurshidy wow!!! You got an amazing deal. What year, 2007?
@@Arill0 Yes, clean title, tires need to be changed and maybe a new chain and sprocket but I already put a couple hundreds miles on it.
