I have my cars underglow wired into my cars DRL as it's the only source that will allow the cars underglow to turn on when I unlock the car , I'm looking for some sort of switch that when turned on will start a countdown to turn off , ie the 12v ignition turns on the countdown timer and turns off when it's counted down
So if put a push button switch to turn the relay on it will be like a key cycle and will charge the item im controling for the amount of time i have it set for .. well how about if i put a momentary switch if i hold the switch longer that the program time will it stay on or turn off the relay just make sure . I using it for a hydraulic clutch launch control silonoide. Just want to make sure it full disengage just incase he mess up and hold the momentary switch during the track run
Would this be recommended for creating cornering lamps on a vehicle? Once a standard on Lincolns & Cadillacs, (activated by the turn indicator, to remain on a few seconds after turn indicator stops)
What type of relay do i need to make (Follow Me Home Headlights) i need a relay which will receive the signal from the door being locked/unlocked and can stay on for about 10 seconds which can signal the headlights relay switch to turn the headlights on
Hope you can help! The wiring on my car is damaged and will cost more than it's worth to fix. So what I was going to do was connect to a power source that turns on with the key, then connect to a start button, and then to the starter relay. I was thinking after the sixty seconds the starter could not be engaged by accident. so I was wondering what the power output was or if it was passive. I have already ordered it but still two weeks before it arrives so i am mapping out all the safety switches I need so that is why I was wonder about the power output. Thank you
I am trying to make a DIY lightsaber. The two spools will hold the blade material, and when the button is pressed, or switch flipped the motor will spin and push the blades out. Can I use this to make sure the motor only spins for a second, on enough for the blades to come out but no further spinning of the motor? Also, can this somehow work with a DC motor? I'm not sure what's optimal to drive this system, as it will be chain driven, or gear driven, with bidirectional capabilities in order to retract.
Question: Can this relay be latched back with power to the contact using the open contact that when energized with a trigger will maintain the circuit with 12V. The trigger itself may be pulsating but once stops pulsating the trigger and the latch will continue until the timer is done and drop off the power and whatever else I'm powering with 12V?

Hey, can you guys recommend a delay relay board module Basically I have a TV that powers on goes in to standby (manually have to press the power button to wake/turn in the TV) I'm looking for a relay onces turned on Waits off for say 5-10 seconds Momentarily on for a second 1/2 seconds to simulate button being pressed - Turning the TV on & Then remains off till power cycled 👍 Hope this makes sense

I mean i want it delay off..12 volt with relay when i press power the light turn on and it countinus lighting until I cut power off then the light turn off after 5second

Are you trying to add another minute to the existing minute? You adjust the potentiometer to adjust the time, if you wanted to add an additional minute you would need to double the discharge resistor value on the timer.

I’m looking to disconnect the negative wire of a cb speaker for 3seconds after I unkey. Will this work? Does it send voltage out of the relay?
