I have nine DROK brand and one Permenol brand that look and operate the same. I have programmed them all in the XX.XX range for spot welders. I wish I had found this video when I purchased the first. I see these timers with many names. I wonder who manufactures them ❓ (Probably Comimark). The unit designer is a true genius 👍👀. Yours is a good deal as I has to purchase the header pins in a kit and wire. A bear to crimp as you know they are tiny. I used a 4" lighted magnifier on a stand to get the wires correctly into the pins for crimping. Not a fun job for the header connector & wire assembly. Thank You for the great video.
Thank You again for the lesson. I have mastered the looping function (3 loops) with the on set at a 0.04 seconds for spot welding nickel strips. Amazing little timer and a great value.👍.
I have the same timer and for the internal trigger jack I used the plug and wires cut off of an old computer fan and the color code was correct. Black Wire was ground, red wire was high level trigger and Blue wire was low level trigger.
Unfortunately, they named the modes backwards. OP meaning open, technically means, relay contacts open/off. The relay is cited as NO/Normally Open and thus not passing current/signal. When I first used it, it did exactly the opposite of what it should have done. CL technically means closed/on and therefore the relay should have closed contacts and be "on." People should be aware that it was programmed with incorrect mode citations.
excellent video! i´m looking for a delay timer than only works on hours, with no setting ( for no common users), something to set in X hours and go, and y X hours works , thanks in advance people!
I know this is an old video, but if you see this comment. I got this off Amazon, looking to wire this to a linear actuator to get it to both push and pull automatically. To open and close a door for a Halloween decoration. I can’t figure out how to wire it. Needs to reverse polarity to pull it back closed. Thought this would do it. But can only get it to go one direction. I thought the open would push and the close would pull. Any suggestions?
Thank you, trying to decipher this 'translated to English' manual is nearly impossible, doubly difficult when you're a chump like me whom doesn't own benchtop power supply.
Sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Ahmir Nolan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Does the trigger still work when you don’t release ur press and if it does it it completes a cycle still being pressed will it start over again once released gonna use a normally closed relay to start a second delay timer once the first delay timer ends its cycle. A timer to start a timer
When using Program 0, if the power is disconnected for any period of time, will the timer come back on ready to start set the countdown all over again. So in other words does it automatically reset to the start.
I was hoping I can just program it to automatically turn and turn for my water sprinkler system but here am seeing I have to turn it on every time it turn off this is good for what if not automatically turn on too
I would GREATLY appreciate your help with his unit....... I am attempting to have this unit delay power to something in my truck AFTER turning the key on, meaning when I turn the key on, I want thr output power to be delayed 60 seconds. Can this be done??? If so, please tell me how. I would really, really appreciate it. Thanks!!!!!!
Can you program the loops to play consecutively, for example have is be on for 4 minutes then off for 16 minutes and then in the next loop 1 minutes on and 5 minutes off and stay on that loop until it is manually stopped?
Hey man I have a solar pump and backup battery system. The problem I’m having is that the solar controller/ charger / is an all in one circuit board. It’s got a “timer” option which is kind of a misnomer. It has two settings : fully on or on for 10 mins and off for 50 mins. I am using it to water crops for aeroponics and need it to be much more frequent. So anyways the timer I got is the same as yours and I am having problems putting it with the existing system. Do I put it between the controller and the pump? That seemed to not work- it turned on but didn’t do anything. Or next I tried wiring it directly to the battery and whatnot but it just stayed on and would turn off any suggestions.
Hey mate, cheers for the video, is there a function where it can be triggered and close the relay, and then open the relay then go to closed for a set time without being able to be re-triggered until the cycle is complete, I am trying to make a shower timer with a solenoid and don't want it to be activated again for sometime after its turned itself off, if that makes sense, thanks again👍
I came across videos on youtube that said a time delay relay can be used to "latch" pulsing power by way of a time delay relay set to 2 seconds to "keep a power signal open". That is, until the trigger is removed. The idea is I will use this kind of relay to power a side view camera on my car to send video to my monitor by using the right and left turn signal wires on the turn signal switch. Can this device facilitate a looping effect via the 2 delay pulse my turn signals get until I move my turn signal to the neutral position?
See this PDF files. It shows the hookup connections: m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1G5-m6B5nL.pdf Their are many rebranded names on this timer but all function identical . The PDF file link will take you out of RUclips but a click on toolbar link of this video brings you back to this video 💡👀.
Do you have to have a trigger I need mine to be on for 30 seconds then off for 8 hours then on for 30 seconds and then repeat indefinitely. And does this timer let you pick seconds for on time and hours for off time or do they have to be the same as in both in seconds or hours.
You have to run program number six and you have to get eight hours in minutes for the off time is 30 seconds but you will have to reset it after 9999 times which should be a while. i’m not sure though this is my first time as well
Is it capable of activating for approx. 30 seconds once every 2-3 hours and reversing polarity? I want to run an incubator turner with it. I'm thinking, I need to set it for the 2-3 hour intervals with limit switches that stop it in each direction. But, I do need it to turn in both directions.
I need it to be off for a set period of time then turn on for a set period of time. Is this capable of it? I ordered a few different relays one is bound to work lol
Sounds like program P7: At power ON Relay will stay OFF for time CL without receiving a trigger signal; then relay stay ON for time OP and then repeats the above action. The number of cycles (loops) (LOP) can be set. Relay will stay ON it end loop(s). Trigger is not functional in this mode

Absolutely the best RUclips technical site on electronics 👍👍👍.
Thank you this video really helped with sourcing the right relay for my car project 👍
Great video! I would have taken hours trying to figure this thing out if it wasn't for your video

This is going to be nice for my live well in my boat.

How did you wire the push button?

What kinda of connector does the trigger use? Are they available on your website?

My timer is stuck in a n open mode. Audibly pulsing. How do I reset the unit - erase all programming to start anew?
Thanks
what about the end less loop, dose it work? how?

Hi, Nice vídeo.. how do You add the external button?
Hello, could you make a video with the connections? I don't get it to work. Thank you

Hi sir, does it have capability to switch on for 10 second, and switch off for 2 hours,?i need for incubator egg turning , thanks
Can’t I connect that boards relay with 28 volts and take that to a second relay to operate a 30 amp 120 relay, trying to make a watering cycle

II want to use the timer to operate a small motor for example after two hrs and 30 mins. how do you do that. thanks
How do I hook this up for negative trigger. I. Pulling my hair out over this lol
is relay ouput can be use on 220v?
Is it capable of activating for approx. 30 seconds once every 2-3 hours and reversing polarity? I want to run an incubator turner with it. I'm thinking, I need to set it for the 2-3 hour intervals with limit switches that stop it in each direction. But, I do need it to turn in both directions.
Sorry no reversing polarity it is a simple relay contact
Thnak u sir
It is advertised as having an on delay, P0 & P1 are off delays. Is it not capable of doing an on delay?
I need to run the five fault reset switch and the smallest amount that regulator says it supports is 6 volts how do I use it
Mine doesn't work as it should. P2 is exactly as P1, means doesn't restart the timer upon pressing the button.
Hi I received my relay timer can I use this without a trigger, I could figure out how to use for jus a simple on off action for set of time
Yes program P6 and P7 will work from when power is applied and does not use the trigger.
Bom, tem como fazer um vídeo mostrando a instalações ?? De como ligar ele no 220v ? esse rele, não estou conseguindo.
Hi Thanks for the video, how to loop it continously or infinite
Only programs P4, P5, P6, and P7 have loop functions, change the “LOP” to”---“for infinite loop.
@@mpjaonline Thank you so much will try it today when it gets delivered by Amazon.

Hello, do you have this module in 220v?
Sorry No, 6-30VDC only
I want this timer .
Can i get this in the UK?
Try searching XY-WJ01 on eBay UK.
@@mpjaonline thanks found it and ordered 👍
