That turned out so beautiful!! Loved that you put your dried flowers and leaves in it. Now I need to look for a small cabinet to redo so I can store my dried flowers and leaves in. Thanks for the inspiration!! 🥰🥰 God Bless y'all
Wow! What a transformation!! I love the distressing you did on it! The little drawer handles are darling! All of your dried foilage looks pretty in it!
Donna, I love this idea. I dried some flowers and leaves last summer using your directions and they turned out great. Like you I was using plastic containers to store them. Now I’ll have to look for a jewelry box. Love your videos and work.
Yay, I am so happy you enjoyed and that you were inspired to dry some flowers of your own 😃That's awesome!!! I am looking for to drying a few more, especially some fall leaves to use next year. Thanks so much for watching. Take care 💖🤗
Ya, that's a great idea Mary Ellen!! How do you clean the vinyl? I have seen some jewelry boxes like that, but have always left them because I wasn't sure how to clean them. I have another wood one, it's big. I'm excited to refinish it. Not sure when I'll do that one, might have to hold off till the new year, we'll see. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful week 🤗💖
@creartivebynature I also inherited Mom's 2 large wooden recipe boxes. They are full, but I don't want all the recipes. As for cleaning the jewelry box, I will probably start with lightly wiping it with soap and water because it is not very dirty. I will use Rub and Biff on the handles and need to find some pretty pink rose transfers rather than decoupaging napkins on the top. Anyway, it is fun to consider a way to make it my own.
Hello from Independence, Ohio, Donna! This jewelry box turned out beautifully! And I love what you use it for! And thank you for inspiring me to press some flowers and leaves again. This video was a double lesson! 😊
Oh that's awesome!! I am so happy you were inspired. I love pressing flowers and leaves, free supplies 😆 I love Ohio, it's so beautiful there!! Thanks so much for watching. Take care 💖🤗
I love it! No good storage left behind.😊 I also watch Yvonne at Ginger Chick Rehab who is a reseller in Michigan that also gives me lots of inspiration like you do. She uses some chalk paint and waxes and finds some amazing products like Decrepit Dust to age pieces. She loves primitive pieces and vintage items with rusty crusty metal. She's also a sweetheart like you are! Texas Deb ❤️
Aw, thanks so much!! Thanks for the tip! I will have to watch her use the stuff, I haven't heard of it before!! Thanks so much for watching. Take care 💖🤗

I inherited Mom's vinyl jewelry box. It needs a good cleaning and an update. Using it for crafts instead is a practical suggestion. Thanks.
