An Amazing Must See IMPROMPTU Card Trick!

One tip on the reveal. Do it face up, so that THEIR selection is the only one face down. It adds another step in the routine in which the spectator might think: "Naaaah, he might've messed up." and when they take the card and turn it, it is the actual reveal of their free selection.

The problem with that fake shuffle is that it's way easier to do on camera than in real life because of the camera angle.

Dai Vernon's "Triumph" One thing you can do is get a thumb break of the top card before you shuffle which makes it easier to let it fall last after the last card from the lower packet. Also you can "push the two halves together" with the palm of one hand with fingers masking the side of the deck as Erdnase pointed out well over a century ago.

obviously I'm not entering the contest because I just discovered your channel, but I had to say : I have searched through MANY of the "show how to do the trick" channels, and NONE of them are as thorough and patient and clear as yours. Simply put, anyone wasting their time on bigger "show me videos" like those done by Cardshuffler99 or TheRussianGenius, or SankeyMagic are following the wrong channel. Just thank you so much for all of the attention you put into your reveals. I love the way that you will link how do to a "switch" in your more advanced tricks by giving the link "here's how i did that move explained in more detail." Just an awesome channel man!
