I have my home decorated for peace and comfort and items remenicent of His love and presence. They are not worshipped but a place to remind us of His presence. He lived in a Jewish home. We have Judaica as his parents would have had but only He is worshipped. 🙏
I have notebooks that I call my God book. It's my prayers and answers that God gave me to those prayers. It has been so important to me and has even given other people comfort. God bless you, brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ ❤
Wow,, this is so beautifully said, I did not even thought about these things.. I invite people from church for lunch , after church every Sunday. We have such a blessed times sharing,, we have missionaries and pastors from Europe too. And they share about the mission over seas. It’s a wonderful time together, and yes I enjoy setting the table with nice dishes, I do have plants and paintings and pictures and other dust collectors 🤷♀️😃 But we enjoy it so much to have fellowship with other Christian people. And I am so blessed with flowers, I get so many flowers from my guests.. So,, sisters,, if you love flowers invite people over😃🙌✝️🙏
I like the prayer board and scripture on the wall. I do have candles on timers for soft light at night, and I’ll let it be a reminder that Jesus is the light. I always think of the curse on the ground as I weed all my gardens 😂😂😛.
Instead of having the symbols of communion, we should probably just Follow the example of the early Church and invite fellow believers over to fellowship. Wherever two or more are gathered, he is among them.
@@lilythomas869 - Not sure who you're talking to but… I don't bother with those things anymore. Once you realize how deeply the pagan roots go, it's hard to go back. It's hard to even WANT to go back. I remember feeling shocked when my art teacher in high school refused to spend class time on decorating the classroom door for Christmas. It was over 35 years ago, but I remember the sentiment to this day. It had to do with celebrating Christmas every day in your heart, not just one day per year… It was a reference to the hypocrisy of most teens, who just wanted a few days off of regular classroom work to do this creative project. But as a young believer, it really hit home to me that this is something that we should rejoice in every day of the year, and it already seemed ridiculous to me to pick a pagan day to celebrate the birth of Jesus. (I was also a Latin student, hence my knowledge of Roman Saturnalia and other pagan goings-on). But it took a lot of years to discover the depth of syncretism, and how every single thing we do for those holidays has pagan roots. Combine that with the admonition to avoid even the appearance of evil, to not participate in the worship of other gods, the absence of any direction from Jesus or Paul or John etc. to celebrate these things with special days… Then there's the obvious Command to avoid worship of graven images. (and that had always bothered me when it came to our beautiful nativity scene at home). There is a certain evil to creating these kinds of traditions for families, for children, to get them to so strongly associate pagan practices with both their faith and some of the most special memories of childhood and family life. I think that's what keeps people from giving them up. The older I got the more I realized that the people of Is rael were just people not that different from us. When pagan practices were introduced into their culture, I'm sure it all started in a nice and innocent way for most people, and then just took over their culture - no one wanted to listen to the prophets, to change their ways. I'm sure they said the same kinds of things that people say now about how Christmas is just fine. They got to the point where child sacrifice was considered OK not unlike a widespread practice in this country and around the world. One of the biggest themes in all of the Bible is how important it is to just immerse ourselves in the word of God and to be doers of that word. Not just doers physically, but committed with all of our hearts. That is our protection. That is our hope and our life and our sustenance, finally made flesh for our salvation. Jesus came to save us, yes, but also to remind us to avoid the lawlessness that opens the door to evil influence. I had to ask myself if God was more important to me or if my attachment to all the emotions and memories and paraphernalia of these so-called "Christian" holidays was more important. So much time is expended on the expectations around these holidays. Even on a shoestring, the expense can really mount up. It has come to feel like a big distraction from what I should really be focusing on. It's not like ministry cannot happen through those things, but I think the return on investment is pretty bad. Plus it just perpetuates the expectations. At least those are fairly true statements of how Christmas is celebrated in a lot of places. But even when celebrated enough Starker sort of way, I had to ask myself… Why are we making about with all of these different pagan days??? The shepherds were NOT out In the fields by night in December and January. Not even close! We have scholars who place the birth of Jesus in spring and some place it in the fall. But it can't be in the middle of the winter by the evidence we have. And don't get me started Easter/Ishtar and the fertility symbols common in Easter celebrations. I let it all go, starting with Halloween, days associated with Saints like Patrick and valentine, Easter, New Year's eve/day, and Christmas which was the biggest hurdle. It has been interesting reconsidering my relationship with holidays in general.
@@AmyVictoria-m8s that is so true, the trouble here is we need to understand worship. As several years ago went looking for answers and the best explanation found was exactly what you said, the example was this person explained that he went to a concert of some popular singers and as he sat there he realized that the energy around him was like worship of the mere man on the stage that could do nothing for them. Realizing that it was wrong to worship anything or person that is not GOD Father, Son, or Holy Spirit, he got up and left. A scripture written on the wall or picture can be a reminder or a help to someone searching for him. Always remember the true worship comes from inside the person.

Inviting the Holy Spirit into our homes transforms our spaces into sanctuaries of peace and light. What items in your home draw you closer to God's presence?
The idea that certain 'items' can fill your home with the Holy Spirit is intriguing but potentially misleading. Doesn’t focusing on physical objects risk turning faith into superstition? The Holy Spirit isn’t confined to things-it’s about the condition of our hearts, our prayers, and how we live out God’s word. Are we unintentionally encouraging people to rely on material items instead of fostering a deeper relationship with God? Maybe we should focus on spiritual practices rather than physical symbols.
You raise a valid concern-the Holy Spirit’s presence isn’t dependent on physical items but on our faith and relationship with God. The emphasis should always be on seeking God directly while using these items as aids to deepen our connection with Him.

God knows, He cares about your heart
I'm sorry to hear that are you in a hospital
You've never had a place to live .
This one lady who's in a nursing home wears those rubber bracelets that says Jesus loves you it reminds me every time I help her and take care of her.
trust in god! god will always be with you and bless you! just trust in god

How are you going to grow your channel when it’s rammed full of adverts, come on man
Look there’s no white people in that big picture where there’s a lot of people you forgot us😭 as if we’re not part of Jesus’s crisis family you forgot us
God did not forget
Have a blessed week ! Nuff love
